"Why did you have to take Cinnamon..." Izuku whined, following the boy from behind.

Katsuki chuckled.

"'Cause I was faster." He snickered.

"But I called dibs!" Izuku argued, riding his horse up to the blonde's side.

"Eh, Whatever. Besides, you're good with Skipper." Katsuki smiled.

Izuku sighed and looked down, petting his horse. He was still new to riding, so he took it easy. Besides, there wasn't any rush, they were in the middle of the woods.

Katsuki and him both rode up to a small creek, settling down and tying the horses to trees.

They sat down, playing with sticks in the water.

"So, you're leaving soon, huh?" Katsuki spoke.

Izuku sighed and nodded sadly.

"Yeah." He said.

The blonde looked up to the sun, then looked back down. "I've never really been good with talking with people, y'know?" He said.

Midoriya looked over to him. "Your point?" He giggled.

"My point is, I don't know how to talk to you. I just... Gah, I know we haven't known each other for long and shit, but I still care a lot for you. You're chill." He said, lying down.

Izuku looked down, blushing.

"And?" He asked.

"And? That's all." Katsuki said, chewing on a strand of grass.

Midoriya looked down, sad. He somewhat wanted Bakugou to keep speaking. To tell him he loved him back.

But that didn't happen. Not even afterwards. The boys headed back home silently, without any confessions.

Izuku thought of telling him, but always kept it in. He couldn't. It was way too soon!

Bakugou led Cinnamon into her stall, while Midoriya did the same with Skipper.

He looked down, blushing as he closed the stall's door. "Kacchan?" He asked, gaining his friend's attention.

"Ya?" Bakugou asked, coming out of Cinnamon's stall.

"I... Um..." Izuku started, clutching his hands together.

He looked up to his friend, who was waiting for him to speak.

"Um... Uh, I... Ahem..." Midoriya stuttered. He couldn't say it! What if it ruined his friendship with Bakugou? He didn't know whether or not to tell him.

"Arg, spit it out already, I ain't got all day!"

Izuku flinched and looked down. His eyes filled with tears. "I... Um... I..."

"Grah, Deku I said spit-" "I like you." Izuku blurted out.

Bakugou felt his ears and cheeks turn red.

He looked down and stared at his feet.

"Oh." He said.

Izuku looked up, shaking.

"I-I was wondering... If you, uh, liked me back? Maybe? I don't know..." Izuku mumbled.

Katsuki sighed and looked up to the boy.

"I don't." He said. "I'm going to bed." He said, leaving the barn.

Midoriya looked down as the blonde left.

He let a few tears fall, knowing he should have kept to himself.

Did he just ruin his friendship with Katsuki?

What's going to happen?

Why did he have to be so rude?
