                        (Y/n's POV)

I was sitting at the beach, relaxing on a chair and leaning back. I had sunscreen and my f/d (favorite Drink) with me, which was both placed nicely on a table besides the chair I rested on. Giggles was on one side of me while Petunia was on the other, the three of us decided to take a peaceful trip to the beach to calm, relax, and spend more time with each other!! "Hey Y/n, Could you pass me the sunscreen?" Petunia asked "Sure!" I replied, reaching for the sunscreen and giving it to her, she Thanked me and put some on. "Aah, today is so peaceful and Sunny, I'm glad we chose today to come here!" Giggles stated, putting her paws behind her head and leaning more back into her chair, crossing her legs and sighing in relief "Same!!" Me and Petunia cheered in unison, we all soon laughed and continued to take sight of the beautiful waves and talked for a bit, until suddenly, we heard screaming and saw that people were running off the sand "What is this?! A Beach crowded game of Tag?!" Petunia managed to blurt out from her state of fear, we soon looked the direction everyone was running from...soon for our eyes to widen in shock...It was Fliqpy. He was wrecking everything, hurting people, and wildly running all over the place causing destruction. How did *He* get here!? Giggles and Petunia stood up and began to run, but turned around "Come on Y/n!!" "You can Make it!!" They cheered, Once I stood up and tried to make my way to them, everything went black...as if I had been knocked out or if I had hit something....

     ~Time Skip. Many hours later~

I woke up, opening my eyes slowly. I was lying down on my back, I carefully sat up and rubbed my eyes...the sky was pitch black...I touched the surface I was sitting on, and it felt like wood. I began to panic and worry, breathing fast and unsteady. 'Why is it Dark? Why am I on a surface of wood? Why did I JUST Wake up? Why aren't I with Giggles and Petunia anymore!?' I thought to myself, I immediately started Crying of fear, I tried to wipe my tears. I ran to a corner just to realize...IM ON A SHIP!!! I screamed fearfully, almost falling off the edge, but someone grabbed me, and accidentally pulled me their direction too rough and fast, I bumped into them and we fell to the floor. I looked at them to see that it was a Male. He's....a sea otter...I began to quiver at the sight of his hook on one of his paws, I attempted to get up, shaking a bit "I-I'm so sorry!" I said, he got up with me "Yar, You seem very timid and panicked at the moment, that explains it...Earlier, I found you on the tide. You were completely blacked out, so I took You to My ship to protect you from Fliqpy..." He stated, I looked at him, he looked back at me, and I looked back at him, he gave a look of concern "Don't be sad, you look sad." He said "No I don't." I stated, although I did. He giggled "Yes you do." "No I don't." "Yes you do." "No, I do not." "Yes you do." "Nuh uh!" "Yeah, you really do." We went back and forth with each other, until we both began laughing, he pulled me into a hug "Hehehehe!! It works every time! Yar! Whenever I try cheering my friends up, I always use that back and forth tactic to make them laugh!" He said, we soon separated and I extended my paw "Sorry I didn't properly introduce myself. Hi! I'm Y/n!" I introduced, he gladly shook it "I go by Russell the Pirate, but you could just call me Russell!" He said, us looking into each other's eyes for a bit "Your aren't going to h-hurt me with that hook, will you?" I asked, referring to the hook on his hand/paw "Oh! Nonono, I wouldn't hurt anyone, not at all!" He replied kindly, I trust him. Suddenly a sly smirk came on his face and he pinned me to the floor of the ship "And Ye seem pretty lost in my gaze. Perhaps, Ye like me...~" He said, getting extremely close. I started blushing a bit "Hey, wait! We just met!!" I panicked, trying to push him away "Wait, but your so cute though!" "When did you become so Flirty in a split second!?" "Okay, okay. I'm sorry." He soon sat next to me and began to view the stars in the night sky, I joined him, it was beautiful "Ya know, I never got to view the stars with anyone before...I usually just do it by myself, but with you here, I feel....special, like I finally have someone...a-as a friend of course, hehehehehe!!" He stated nervously, I giggled a bit "Yeah, your one of the first people I'm doing this with too." I said, he looked me in the eyes, my paw on his armed hook (idk what to call it XD) and scooted a little closer to him. "Look, Russell...You seem very nice, and I really want to get to know you better, but I have to go...I have go back to Happy Tree Town, I can't stay here...with you." I claimed, I felt so bad to tell him that, but I had to get home since it's super late at night. He looked down in shame, but looked back up at me with huge Puppy eyes "Pleeaaaaaaaaaaase stay with meeeeeeeee!!!" He begged, whining a bit. He began shaking me uncontrollably "Pleeaaaaaaaase Just for a little while!! Once the ship reaches land I'll take you home!! Pleaaaaaaaaase!!!" He begged once more, I sighed and giggled "Okay, Fine..." As soon as I said that, he pulled me into a tight warm hug "YAR HAR!! THAT'S THE BEST NEWS Y-Uhm, that's great!! We'll have lots of fun for the time being!!" He claimed "Hehehehe!!! Your funny Russell! And Yes, I agree! I we'll have an Amazing time!!" I claimed. We both cheered in unison.

"Yar, by the way...can we date?"
