Disco Bear x Shy Reader

     

                        (Y/n's POV)

As I was running to the library, I struggled to carry the books in my two hands/paws. I was meant to return the books yesterday, but I had to visit my mother, for the fact that I nearly forgot to do. I was speeding past the other Happy Tree Friends, my F/c tail flowing in the wind along with my F/c Hair. I nearly tripped over a Bear with an Afro who was Dancing in the middle of the sidewalk, but managed 'Who was he?' I thought to myself.

I burst into the Library, walking up to the Librarian who so happened to be Flippy, he shushed me. I plopped the books next to him, he looked at the books, then back at me "Oh? Y/n, Your here to return the books...a Day Past it's due date?" He asked, obviously aggravated "Why do they even have a due date!? I mean...Wait, I-I'm sorry Flippy! I had to do something yesterday, please don't be mad!" I begged, he looked at me, got up from where he was sitting, and hugged me. I hugged back "I forgive you, just be sure not to forget next time, okay?" He asked, looking me directly in the eyes firmly yet softly, I nodded. After the hug, we said our goodbyes (quietly lol), I left the library. Me and Flippy are best friends, been like that for a long while, I'd say 3 to 4 years,!but I feel like he takes his new library job a bit to seriously, but he still is sweet and kind to me, along with others. As I was walking, I hummed a peaceful song to myself, I'm shy to everyone that's not Flippy, I feel like I wouldn't introduce myself right or do something wrong. I'm sometimes so shy that I isolate myself from others to not be disturbing, but Flippy is helping me bond with others. (I'm Shy irl) I saw a Butterfly and attempted to view it's details, that was until I felt an arm on mine, I turned my head to see who it was, but I was pulled close to them as they began to dance with me, I soon noticed that it was the same Male Afro Haired Bear from earlier, he was the one dancing in the middle of the sidewalk, but Then He took me under the trees that flowed and released flowers from it's branches, the soft grass beneath us and the sky being as blue as the ocean. "I saw you earlier and you seemed to be in a rush, I wonder if you were running from my Love~" He claimed "Wha-Er-Um-Huh? I-I-I'm s-sorry...but do I know you?" I asked shyly, he began to blush "Your voice is so beau-I mean, My name is Disco Bear! How about you, Cutie?~" He asked, I struggled to speak as I panicked and began to blush intensely "M-M-M-M...mmm....Eeerrmmm, My Name is Y/n..
ItsnicetomeetyouDiscoBearyouseemlikeaniceperson!" I claimed speedily, he looked kinda shocked, but soon softened his expression "It's 'Lovely' to meet you too Y/n, you look gorgeous today, I had forgot to mention~" He claimed, flirting? "T-Thank You-" "How about you come to my house and we could watch a romantic movie together-" "TOO SOON!!" I began to panic crazily, I grew uncomfortable and tried to escape, but he grabbed my hand/paw, I began to shake with worry "You can't leave yet..." he said, I began shaking more of fear "Because we need to continue dancing!" He cheered, I wiped the little bead of sweat from my forehead, I thought he didn't want me to leave because he was mad or something else, I calmed myself down a bit "But Disco Bear, I-I'm not that good at dancing, it's just-" "I can help you improve!" He chimed in, I began to fiddle with my fingers nervously. He lended his Paw to me, and I hesitated, but gladly accepted. As we danced, he started doing impossible moves, I don't know what to do when he does that "Just follow my lead!" He cheered, he grabbed my hands and danced with me. (EvErYbOdY dO tHe FlOp! No, No, Jk! >w<)

               ~10 Minutes Later~

We soon finished dancing and sat on the grass, watching the view. Disco Bear patted my back "Ya know, I'm not gonna lie, Your a pretty good Dancer!" He said "Ah, Thank You Disco Bear!" I said, he came closer, and closer, and closerrr "Hey! We s-should go get ice Cream!" I said, he stopped "Ooooh Noooo, I thought we were gonna do a romantic love's kiss..." He wined, I whimpered and blushed "But I'm not ready for that yet..." I complained, he chuckled, snorting a bit, it's so Cute!! "Awww Okay, I'll give you your time, you little weak puppy!" He teased, I punched his arm playfully, he gave out a small 'Ow' as we got up and went out for Ice cream.

"By the way, is this a date, Cutie?~" He asked, I punched his arm again, but more aggressively...

"OW!!"
