Xinghaos life didn't meet any major problems from the last incident. The worst that could happen is him passing out from hunger or exhaustion or getting comissioned to gather bugs. But that didnt last very long.

in teyvat, there used to be 7 nations ruled by gods, and one being ruled by hunans.
It was called Khaenri'ah.
The boy would often visit the place, to help the people there, considering that that nation didn't have any protection from a god, bot that it needed it anyway.
Something unfortunate happened one day.

Xinghao was heading towards the godless nation, for comissions. It was to his surprise to see explosions in the distance. He didn't know what was happening, but he knew it wasn't good.

The boy ran faster to Khaenri'ah, hoping he could help. He stopped when he saw what the cause was.
The archons were destroying the narion, fire and dust everywhere. He could see the corpses of many on the ground. He could see most of the archons destroying everything. Fire, devouring, water drowning, wind blowing, rock breaking, thunder striking.

When he finally arrived, the only there left was the electro archon, mourning the death of her twin. He felt a bit of empathy for her, but it didn't excuse her actions. Xinghao slowly became ashamed for being a vision bearer. He became ashamed to be one of the geo archons people.

The boy was walking around, shocked. He tried helping the people that still had a bit od life left in them, trying to heal their wounds, but everything failed. Almost as if the people were cursed. He left glaze lillies there, for them to remember the unjustice that the archons caused. And to mourn the lives taken.

Sadly there was nothing left he could do, the nation was soon to crumble so Xinghao payed his respects to the dead and decided to leave. Why was he allways caught up in destruction? Was it his curse? It surely couldn't be it since it was only making him immortal. Maybe that'd an answer he'd find out another day.

But the guilt didn't leave him.

He could have done more.

If he got there in time he could have saved some people.

He could have helped the ones that flee'd the nation.

But he didn't and it was eating him up on the inside.

Xinghao decided to live with that guilt, hoping it wouldn't affect him too much. And that's what he tried to do, but sometimes he'd have episodes where he couldn't take it anymore and had to take out his emotions somewhere.
So whenever he'd go adventuring in the wild and he'd reach his limit, he would let out his emotions somewhere where peoppe couldn't hear or see him. And it started becoming a part of his "routine".
