Harold

There was an old farmer who lived in Arizona, he had the best farm in the area. People said that his crops were the best, people from all around the world would come and buy his goods. When people would ask how he got his crops so good he said every time that it was his scarecrow. The old man built it himself, it took him a month to make it as scary and possible. It's arms were 6ft wide and it was as tall as a tree, but the most scariest part of it was its face. It was carved out of a pumpkin. He spent days and night perfecting the design. It was so ugly and gross that even the old farmer was too scared to even look at it. On the next farm along were two very lazy brother named Richard and Harold, because they were lazy their crops were terrible. They were jealous of the old man and his success. They plotted against him, to put him out of business so that they could take over his farm and make more money. So that night they snuck into the old mans farm and stole his prized scarecrow and stuffed into their closet so no one would find it. The next morning the farmer woke up to find out that all his crops were eaten, he cried because he knew that he would go out of business. the two brother were watching and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

That night the two brother had trouble sleeping, not because they felt guilty, it was because to the twisted face of the scarecrow, they knew that they would not be able to sleep in the scarecrow was in their house. They dragged the thing outside and smashed the head until it was a million pieces. At midnight the two brother were woken by a scratching sound. Suddenly the door burst open and two snake like arms grab Harold. He yelled at his brother to help but he was already running away. As he ran down the road in the moonlight, he could see the old man at his fate with a twisted smile on his face. Richard turned around and the scarecrow had a new head it was Harold's. And that was the last time Harold and Richard were ever seen again.
