I got out and looked at the house. it wasn't a mansion but it was close. I walked up the stairs to the house, and in the corner of he porch was a rocking swing something I always wanted as a little kid. I walked over there and sat down and rocked back and fourth slowly.

the front door flew open and a girl came out she looked in her teens, a couple seconds later I realized it was my sister Caroline. she ran to me and jumped in my arms, I spinned her around. I felt a tear drop from my eye. "I can't believe its really you" I said. hugging her again. "I've missed you to" she said. her eyes getting watery. "where's Danyella?" I asked. she gave me a look and nudged her head in the house. danyella was the middle child. and she was very smart. I turn my head and looked down and saw her, Danyella, but she was in a wheel chair. my eyes almost fell out of my head. "I didn't want you to see me like this" she said. I kneeled down on my knees and he'll her hands in mine.

"you didn't want me to see you like what, beautiful, because that is what you are" I said. smiling trying to stay strong for her. she hugged me and Carolina pushed her back into the house. "oh my gosh mama, what happen?" I asked letting my curiosity get the best of me. my mama just held her head down.

"it was just when I got the girls back and I thought it would be a good idea for them to go horse back riding..." she stopped. taking a seat on the rocking swing. "Carolina didn't want to so she just sat down and watched, and danyella she hurt her leg during cheer practice, a few weeks earlier. and she told me riding the horse wasn't a good idea, but I didn't listen I made her get on the horse." she stopped and I sat by her on the rocking swing.

"and she was riding the horse and everything was going well until she fell, and its all my fault" she blamed herself. I wrapped my arms around her bringing her to my chest. "the wheel chair is just temporary, but still" she said. I looked over at the screen door and saw danyella sitting right there listening. I don't know if she heard the whole thing, but I knew she heard some of it. which triggered something in me, it made me wanna never leave her or my mother.

after that heart warming moment me and my mother had on the porch she showed me to my room which head upstairs. I placed my stuff down and flopped down on my bed. my phoned ranged and it was gabby. I made myself answer it because I know it would just make her more upset.

me: hello?

gabby: don't hello me, where the hell are you? I've been exiting you and you never responded.

me: gabby, I can explain

gabby: I'm listening

me: this is something to talk about face to face.

gabby: okay well come over to my house

me: I can't

gabby: why not?

me: because I'm in... I'm in California.

gabby: what the...how the...

me: I'll explain everything when you get here

gabby: when I get there? what do you mean? I dont have any money

me: I'll send you a plane ticket

we hung up. and I stood on my bed and started jumping up and down. when I was a kid I used to jump on the bed to help me get through stuff. my mom walked in and stopped by the door frame. "something must be going on" she said. my eyes grew wide. "how do you know?" I asked. she laughed as if I already knew the answer. "you used to do this all the time as a kid" she stated. I can't even belief she remember that. "I just wanted to let u know dinner is ready" she said walking out my room. I flopped down and sat criss cross applesauce on my bed thinking have my mother always paid attention to us.
