"Harry struggles with food or body image"

⚠️TW⚠️// eating disorders, restricted eating, increased exercise as part of ed, bullying, anxiety

Lmk if I missed any!

Please please don't read this if it will trigger you, you deserve to keep yourself safe and avoid your triggers.

⚠️there is not a solution at the end of this part⚠️
There will be a second part to this story! Knowing me and my updating habits it probably won't be out for a while so if reading a work like this without a solution will upset or distress you please wait for the next one!

Again this is all fiction and not reality

Harry doesn't know when or how it started.
Actually, that's a lie.
He knows when.

It started when he was getting changed after PE class, not uncomfortable with his body but also not overly confident either. His feeling was neutral and he was looking forward to getting changed and going to lunch.
It was a guy in his class, an asshole, who he had only really heard of before who mentioned it to him- well- made him self-conscious.

His shirt was off for a second, he realised too late that his new one was inside out so it took a moment to flip it around, when he started to hear some snickering.
At first he thought it was just those guys who liked to make gay jokes about each other picking on one of the members in their own group but upon hearing his name he realised he was sorely mistaken.
"Hey, Lewis," a voice calls out sneeringly.
Harry tugs on his top before turning to the sound, finding in fact the whole group of assholes were staring at him laughing.
The main asshole looks at his friends before turning back to the boy in question, and like a mean girl trope from any 2000's film he barks out, "maybe you should lean towards the salad today at lunch, the bread might be a bit-" he pauses to look him up and down before turning to his friends who bite back their laughter, "heavy," they lose it.

Harry feels the tips of his ears burn red, his cheeks following along quickly. He tugs on his hoodie thankful for the fact he'd already changed his bottoms so all he had to do was shove everything into his bag and leave.

Anxiety swells and twists in his stomach as he storms out of the locker room. He feels tears from pure embarrassment and shame prick his eyes though he quickly brushes them off with his hoodie sleeve.
He forces his gym bag into his locker before quickly making his way to the cafeteria, desperately wanting to forget absolutely everything that just happened.

He finds his friends table quickly, thankful for the fact that it's in a pretty secluded section towards the back. He takes a seat at the end of a bench and immediately lays his head in his crossed arms on the table, hoodie covering any view of his actual form.
The boys already seated give each other a questioning look.
Simon shares one with JJ who just shrugs, equally confused.
"Harry?" Vik asks, poking the other with a fork.
Harry groans in response.
"You alright?" Josh asks from the other end of the table.
That gets no response.
The boy stays quiet, the rest of the group deciding to give him space until a certain redhead can be heard laughing as he walks into the cafeteria alongside Tobi.
They approach the table, demeanour changing quickly once they realise how quiet it is.
Ethan looks around the table until his eyes settle on Harry, whatever was just making him laugh completely leaving his mind as he sits next to the boy, hand settling on his back gently.
"Hey bog," he says softly, "you alright?" Harry shifts his head, still laying down but now looking at the other.
