Once out of the girls room and out of the airport Marinette took Danny's hand and started to walk around being keen on what was around her and where everything was while they were looking at there new home . As they were starting to walk she told Danny about her being ladybug and he was happy that she was a super hero and started jumping Up and down pointing to his dress .so Marinette started to laugh knowing what he was talking about but Danny tripped and bumped into someone with green hair Danny ran back to Mari as she went to get him . She said sorry to him and that her brother was excited and mute with a smile he asked did they know who he was when Danny gave him a flower and Mari said yes of course I would know the notorious joker see you later mister j walking away with Danny now holding her hand . As they were walking away the joker said that they would be Gotham's new angel and little sunshine Marinette didn't know what that meant at the time but they were under the villains protection and were better there than were they were before . Marinette decided that they were going to stay in a hotel for while she gets everything ready like where they are going to live and what they need .once in the hotel she looked around it was a one bedroom with a closet and bathroom she took a shower and laid Danny down for a nap once she was out and Danny was still sleep she made a list of what she need this list consisted of - sowing machine, car and car seat which she would get much later ,job , a place , school for the both of them and probably a babysitter for Danny when she was away and food yes definitely food . Going out to get fresh air for a bit she met a old man named Mr.stan he came off a bit rude but he told her what she needed he even showed her what school she could go to in the fall and told her were she can get a non sketchy job with good pay .he told her were she could buy most of the stuff except for the car and car seat which she was saving for later. Once she bought everything she waited to go see the school as she wanted Danny with her.so going back to the hotel and put all the stuff she had with her in the closet for safe keeping she then when to see if Danny was awake but bad part is that he was . He was already up and knew that she was not there so she ended up finding him in a corner crying well more like silently balling his eyes out with his hands on his head and his feet tucked together she started to feel terrible because she didn't think that this would happen but picked him up and told him where she went and why she was not there when he woke up while rocking him making him feel a little better .the next day she packed up everything they had as she didn't plan on staying at the hotel any longer she now had Danny's go bag at the door ready for him she had his dresses and her outfits in the same one and the new stuff she brought in a bigger duffle bag now having only 3 things to look after. danny was difficult to get shoes for as he curled up his feet or just didn't walk right with them own so she made him a pair of ballet shoes with soft but thin fabric for him to walk on and feel comfortable in .once they left and signed out of the hotel they headed to the school ,at the she went to the main office and asked to be transferred there the school was at the point were it had a month before it would have closed for break so she talked to the principal about there classes what would happen and what did both of them need for the classes that they would be transferred once said break was over .on the bright side Mari had half of her classes with Danny but she also didn't know what she was going to do for the rest as she didn't know how he would do with him being by himself or in special classes as she could always put him in there if needed to .but they still had time to decide on that in the future for now she was going to go and sign in to another hotel and get ready for the night as the famous MAG just got an invitation to a Wayne gala and was able to bring a plus one . they decided to pass time by looking around getting familiar with gotham as well as going into different stores but not buying anything as they did not have a permanent place or needed it Mari signed in to another hotel that was closer to where the gala was held they got changed into a original design made by Mari and I have to say they were stunning her hair was down to her shoulders with a few braids in it Mari wore a silky royal blue and drank red dress that completely complimented her features with matching shoes to go with it she took out the miraculous box from her new earrings and made sure everyone in it was safe she made the box have more space and become that size when she became great guardian and collected all the miraculous from over the world as well as the ones that seemed to be hidden or lost . Danny's dress was a bit more childish and different but he loved it with his new shoes that he wore sometimes and a white dress with black accessories on the dress he had a pacifier in his mouth and a mask that matched the dress on along with his to go bag his hair was braided in to a very presentable fashion but also in his style .when they got to the gala they were astonished at the way everything was set up and it reminded them of home well the good parts of it .
