When Taylor got back to her hotel room, Kally and Oliver were there, giggling and flirting like there was no tomorrow. She watched as Oliver tackled her onto Kally's double bed and Kally burst into a fit of laughter. Her heart ached just watching.

“Uh, hey guys. I just came in to grab my wallet, go get a coffee and all that.” Taylor said quietly as Kally and Oliver both looked her way. She must not have been hiding her feelings very well as they both sat up instantly, concern written all over their faces. Taylor had thought that her hour and a half at the beach, getting the tears out of her system would have done the trick. She'd even gone to the trouble of stopping in the downstairs lobby bathroom and tried to make her eyes look less puffy.

That would take more then a few splashes of cold water, though.

“Taylor, what's happened?” Kally asked, rushing towards her, but Taylor smiled and turned to go over to her bag, digging around in it with her back to the two.

“Nothing's happened. I'll be back later, do you want me to get you a take away?” She asked, and Kally's body appeared in front of her, her hands finding Taylor's shoulders.

“Hey, talk to me.” She said quietly, and Taylor fumbled with her zip before pulling at it roughly and stayed silent.

“Oli? Could you please give T and I a minute?” Kally said over her shoulder, and Oliver nodded, looking downright mad.

“Do you know where the little shit is?” Oliver asked Taylor, and she shook her head, frowning.

“You mean Nate?”

“Yeah. I'm going to go have a chat to the prick.”

“No Oli it's not even about him, and even if it was I don't want you to. Besides, your his best friend.” Taylor said quickly, looking up at him. Oliver stared down at her, tight lipped.

“But you and Kally are my girls.” He half smiled, and Taylor punched him in the arm lightly. He chuckled, kissing Kally softly on the lips before leaving the room.

“Now, how about that coffee?” Kally asked and Taylor nodded, grateful to have such a good friend.

They got in the elevator in silence. Taylor hated that she couldn't hid what was going on in her head. She was the logical one. The one that didn't fall for some guy and get her heart broken, that was Kally. And now Kally was doing her job of helping her sort through this mess. She wished she could just forget about it, shrug it off like it wasn't a big deal and move on. She wished the strings had stayed unattached.

But her she was, feeling like someone had dropped rocks into her gut and tied it to her heart, weighing it down.

Once they were outside of the hotel, Kally led her to the corner cafe and ordered them both a hot chocolate and a slice of fudge cake.

“Fudge?” Taylor raised her eyebrows. Kally shrugged, finding a seat in the corner of the cafe.

“You look like you need chocolate.”

Okay, so she felt the urge to gorge on it too. And here she was, thinking that chocolate after heart break was just for the movies.

As soon as one of the waitresses put their hot chocolates down in front of them, Kally leaned forward and gave Taylor all of her attention. “Okay, spill.”

“You don't have to hear it, I'm fine now.” Taylor said, taking a sip of the hot chocolate in front of her. God, it was like heaven that first sip.

“No, you're not. And don't even try that fake smile on me, I know you better then that.” Kally scolded, taking a sip of her own. “Oh, that's like heaven.”
