Pt.2 previous chapter
Yeah yeah rolls over once again in his bed, unable to sleep. He looks at the clock and it had only been three hours since he's discovered his best friend with his other..well ex-bestfriend.
He wasn't even sure if they were friends in the first place. Maybe she was just being nice to him, or vice versa.
He stared at the old Polaroid of him and Benny from the previous two summers. He clenches his fists and stood up. He opens his room door quietly and closes it.
He toddles down the stairs as quiet as he could; making sure not to wake anyone up, especially his sister.
He opens the front door, peeking out and looking to see if Benny's house lights were still on.
They were.
He looks closer and he saw the two, through the window. They were laughing about something, as always. Everytime Yeah Yeah glanced over at them, they were always laughing, or smiling at something the other said.
He felt crushed.
He kneels down on the ground covering his face in his hands. His eyes began watering, before sobs escape his mouth.
"Al- I mean...yeah yeah?" His little sisters voice rings out. Yeah yeahs eyes widen as he covers his mouth in attempt to not make anymore noise.
The patters of his little sisters feet hit the floor as she runs down the stairs. Yeah yeah jumps at the feel of his sisters hand on his shoulder.
"Whats wrong.." she says looking in the direction he's looking at. He shakes his head "nothing I just..did something very bad" he says standing up.
"You should get back to bed-" but his sister, Alana interrupts him. "Whose the girl with Benny?" She asks looking at them through the window.
"That's his..my..friend" he says pushing a smile onto his face. His sister scans his face "you don't seem to happy about that" she says crossing her arms.
Yeah yeah rolls his eyes "your six-", but Alana interrupts him again "almost seven in seven months" she says.
"Proves my point your only six" he says rolling his eyes. "Well...why are you sad?" Alana asks once again.
"I'm not sad!" He says raising his voice..but he looks down and one more tear runs out. Alana notices and she sighs "so you like her but Benny's with her" she says and yeah yeahs head shoots up.
He stares at her in silence before Alana now sighs with content. "I got it..didn't I!" She says excitedly before stopping at her brothers sad expression. "Sorry...I'll go now' she mutters leaving but he grabs her arm hugging her.
She stays still not sure what to do. He's never hugged her, but she is now unsure what to do. "You can hug back..its ok.."
She falls into her older brothers arms hugging him back...trying to figure out what happened between him and his friends mentality, in her head.
