The systems voice seem to have been suddenly cut off just like his vision.

A moment of absolute darkness filled his mind, the last thing he heard from that world was a heart wrenching call.

"Shizun?"

Groaning, Shen yuan struggled to open his eyes as bright white light came from above.

His voice habitually called out, "Binghe, close the curtains." Then turned over to shield his eyes.

A hand yanked him back towards the light, forcing him to wake up with a startle.

"Who is binghe?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Shen yuan turned over to see the face of his father, the same father from his home on earth.

"Ba ba! How did you get here? Don't tell me you choke on food too?"

When he spoke, he realized that an intense flame rose in his throat. It felt like there was something clogged in there.

"Aiya! Just because you choked on a dumpling while reading those useless online novels, you really turned into the retard your step-mother calls you."

His dad spat out the harsh words then left the room without remembering about his previous question.

Shen yuan eyes followed his father as he walked away, then shifted to take in his surrounding.

Why does this medical inn look so advance? It looks like a modern hospital room.

Shen yuan ran towards the window he saw in his room, pushing the curtains away to expose the scenery.

It was the streets of China, that one he was familiar with.

The smog in the air was fairly decent compared to the lower income areas.

His father was the an important politician, thus he had access to a VIP hospital room, which gave him the best scenery in the hospital.

Which is also why his father was so disappointed in him early.

Thinking deeply about what his father had said, he concluded that he was back home. On earth.

Time didn't move on without him, in fact, time froze.

When he realized that he came back into his own body, he felt something wasn't right.

There was something he vaguely remembers, like a disappearing dream.

He swore he could remember that dream, or whatever it was, and it's every detail. Like that dream actually took place.

Yet, he can't remember a single thing,
and it killed him.

He knew that deep down, whatever he forgot was something dearly important. Or who he had forgot, they were important to him.
