Those words torn a hole through his heart, as binghe realized that the man he loved wouldn't remember the times they spent together.

The years of pain and anguish the two went through before finally choosing to accept the scars of the past with love and understanding.

The love he gives and receives from Shen yuan provides him the will to keep pushing forward, yet right now that flame was slowly fading away.

Shen yuan looked closely at the man who was previously embracing him. Studying the gorgeous details of his face, the alluring midnight black hair, and the odd glowing flame symbol in the middle of the mans forehead.

After being held for a few awkward seconds, Shen yuan realized that the random man had seemed oddly familiar. Trying to figure out why, he noticed that this man seemed to have misty eyes.

Before Shen yuan could say anything, the other moved abruptly. The man helped him up, moved to an appropriate distance and began to speak.

"I'm sorry for the confusion, my name is..."

Stopping mid-sentence, the man was at a lost, his mouth seemed to be moving yet the sound never came.

Shen yuan assumed that the man wanted him to guess his identity, scanning through his memories he couldn't figure out who the man was.

However, the faint memory of his father talking about him calling out a name while in his temporary coma.

.

.

.

"Mr. Binghe?"

The man seemed to have reacted to the name but not in the way Shen yuan would've thought as he saw the mans' eyes burst into silent tears.

He walked forward, only extending a hand to grab the clothes on Shen yuans clothes.

"Shizun, you're still in there."

Although the words didn't seem to mean anything the Shen yuan, he weirdly felt more comfortable and at ease when this stranger called him 'shizun' than ever before.

Even with some trauma left behind from his recent sexual assault, no traces of disgust could be found in any of the feelings he was currently feeling.

Unable to properly analyze the feelings flooding himself, Shen yuan couldn't handle standing anymore so he made his way to the couch.

Of course, the man 'binghe' followed along.

Watching his newly gained puppy follow him, Shen yuan once again felt a strange sense of déjà vu. As if this had happen before.

"Excuse me, how do I know you?"

Binghe sat down neither too far nor too close from Shen yuan, "You know me well, as I to you."

"???"

Of course this random man had to speak in riddles instead of just telling him the truth.

After a series of Shen yuan attempting to pry Binghe's mouth for some information, he finally gave up and allowed the weirdo to follow him around—granted that he had no say in the matter anyway

Shen yuan walked around the apartment they were staying in, it was one he had never seen before.

Looking out the window, he saw nothing except a dirty alleyway.

"What a shit-hole..."

Cursing aloud, Shen yuan noticed some slight movements behind him. Watching the reflection in the mirror he saw binghe with his mouth slightly open.

"What?"

Shen yuan turned around at the weirdo acting even stranger.

"Nothing...it's just that I have never heard shizun speak so brutally."

Once more, he was thoroughly confused with how he knew this man. All his friends knew him to have a trash filled mouth, constantly spilling trash as he spoke and cursing at others.

Thoughts disturbed by the man coming closer, the image of him being pressed down flashed in his head.

His body began to tremble slightly as he locked eyes with binghe.

Naturally noticing the difference, binghe tried to calm him down. Holding his hand, he gently stroked each finger before placing a light kiss.

"Although this is different from you before, it doesn't make you any less amazing."

Despite the trauma still being fresh, binghe seemed to provide a sense of security. His tremors slowly ceased.

Binghe could feel the trembles slowly fading away, so he moved closer after getting a consenting gaze from Shen yuan.

"And no matter which life you choose to live, I will walk it with you and protect no matter what WE face."

Binghe embraced him gently, letting Shen yuan rest his head on his shoulder.

A small sob surfaced from the depths of his heart, "but I don't know who you are?"

"I can't recall a single detail about our relationship or any details about you."

His hair was caressed gently, as soft kisses were placed atop.

"Shen yuan, no matter if you know me or not. It is the fact that my existence as been engraved into your soul that gives me hope."

Putting a small distance between them, just so they could locked eyes, binghe whispered "you called out my name."

"But I-"

Binghe interrupted him.

"The fact that in your slumber, your most vulnerable state, you called out my name regardless of you lack of memory shows me that your love is still mine forever."

Restraining the desire to kiss Shen yuan, while offering nothing except his warm embrace the two spent half-an-hour soaking in the moment.

Interrupting their moment, the sound of a suppressed gun shot came from the front door.

"Shizun, follow me."

Dragging yuan over to the bed, binghe pushed it to the slightly to the side exposing a trap door. Pulling it open, binghe reached inwards and turned on the lights.

"Shizun you go first, I distract them okay?"

"Them? Who are you talking about binghe?"

Binghe was guiding Shen yuan down as he explained their situation. Yuan's father was dead set on finding him, dead or alive.

"All I know is that your father is dead set on finding you, I have no idea why because by the time I found you....you were..."

"Anyway, I promise I'll catch up just head down."

Binghe closed the trap door and Shen yuan could hear the bed shifting back into place. Before he made his way down the stairs, loud thudding sounds came from above—suppressed gun fire as well.

Shen yuan felt a heavy sense of dread hearing those shots, thinking of how binghe was up there alone.

A heavy object fell on top of the bed above him, soon a warm liquid leaked from above. Slamming against the hatch, Shen yuan begged binghe to open the door.

"Binghe, I can help!"

More series of suppressed gunfire came, along with an even heavier stream of blood leaking.

"Binghe!"
