Chpt. 10 Current Plans
Hearing that Alpha had plans for dinner only made Proxima's plans for her night that much better. Or more accurately, her plans for her and Crassel's night. It had been a long while since they'd gotten to spend a night together by themselves without anything else interfering, and Proxima had finally cleared her schedule enough to allow her some free time with her soon-to-be-husband.
The only unfortunate part is that she wished he was already here, but Alpha had told her that he was with the rest of their brigade, so she had to wait. Precisely what she was going to do until he got here was something she wasn't sure of though. She pulled out her phone to text him something, but hesitated before turning it on, sitting at the counter in their kitchen. Tapping her nose for a moment in thought, she shook her head, sliding the device back into her pocket. Then, her eyes lit up. She had just thought of quite the idea.

With the sun sinking ever lower as Titan moved around Saturn in its 382-hour orbital period, Crassel was more than ready to be with his future wife for the night, so he quite willingly obliged when Castor asked if everyone was ready to go home and eat. The last hour or two had been rather interesting, to say the least. Walking beside him was Castor, with Alpha and Courus behind, and then that odd fellow Jeiko, who Crassel had decided was definitely a runt of some kind, though he didn't know why. He wasn't quite a year younger than Alpha- a year on Earth- yet he looked like he was several. And his eyes being structured so oddly, and the colors in them, and on his hair and his wings! Wings in general! Not to mention the accent!
"What do ya think of 'im Crassel?" Castor asked, glancing over his shoulder at Jeiko, who was currently locked in conversation with Alpha and Courus.
Crassel gave it a thoughtful moment before answering, replying, "Honestly I'm not so sure... Certainly a rather strange individual, wouldn't ya say?"
"Ai. Never met a stranger one in me life so far, no?"
Something about the way Castor said that made him laugh, answering him with, "Ai indeed. Anyhow, you lads enjoy yer meal. I've got some other plans to be about tonight."
Castor smirked with interest. "Oh really...? Other plans, ya say? But mate, what could possibly be more important than yer best friend?"
"How's about my wife?" Crassel asked.
Castor nodded. "Smart man. Put yer wife before your friends. Nonetheless, she isn't yer wife yet."
Crassel looked at him obviously. "Bloody close enough; ya know what I mean."
He just rolled his eyes and chuckled as they approached his car, parked in a lot just outside a small store, conveniently built on the edge of the forest. Crassel got in the front seat beside Castor, who conveniently decided that he would be the one to drive his own car, while Courus, Alpha, and Jeiko all three sat in the back across the bench seat, Alpha sitting between the other two.
"I'm surprised ya didn't make yer new friend sit in the middle." Castor said to Courus and Alpha as he turned the car on, the battery humming back to action.
"Well, evr'yone 'as to make a sacrifice now and then, don't we?" Alpha asked, putting his seatbelt on.
Castor smiled and Courus laughed, putting his left arm around Alpha. "Ai. See lads? He's the right of it."
