As Haoxin was walking back to the village from the forest, he suddenly spotted something bizarre.

He saw a weird looking shadow moving around the entrance to the forest. What was weird was the fact that there was nothing standing by this shadow. It was as if this shadow wasn't the shadow of anything at all.

Haoxin had a bad feeling upon seeing this shadow and as such decided to quickly hide behind one of the large trees.

When the shadow entered the forest, it was then that the shadow started to rise from the ground and suddenly transformed into a person!

This person seemed to be a middle aged man wearing a tattered black jacket with many pockets. Haoxin then saw that from each pocket there were several shiny objects sticking out. Some of which Haoxin had recognized.

"Those are... my mother's jewelry?... This person's a thief!... Ah!" It was then that Haoxin saw something from the middle aged man that made him realize that this was definitely no ordinary thief.

From below the middle aged man wearing a black tattered jacket rose a white glowing ring.

"This thief's a Spirit Master!" Thought Haoxin as he immediately then started thinking of a way to get his mother's jewelry back from this spirit master thief.

He thought: "I'm guessing his ability to turn into a shadow is his spirit skill.... If I ask the Village Protectors for help, he might use that spirit skill and escape into the forest."

Haoxin then clenched his fists and thought: "I might have to stop him myself. I'm just a six year old kid right now so hopefully he wont use his spirit skill to try to escape from me.... thankfully he's only a one ringed spirit master and his spirit ring is even only a ten years spirit ring. If I catch him off guard, I might actually have a decent chance of knocking him out."

Under normal circumstances Haoxin wouldn't stand a chance against a spirit master in a head-on fight. After all even though he had superhuman strength and speed, spirit masters still had their Martial Souls and Spirit Skills.

Which is why he decided to first try to catch this spirit master thief off guard before he makes his move.

Haoxin then decided to step out from the large tree and walk slowly towards the thief.

"Hm?" It was then that the thief noticed The boy and mutteted: "A kid? What's a kid doing out here in the forest?"

When Haoxin got close enough to the thief, he tried his best to appear like a scared and weak ordinary child and said: "Um.. uh... Hello there mister."

"What's a kid like you doing in the forest at night?" Asked the thief with a cold expression.

Haoxin then pointed at one of the jewelry sticking out of the thief's pocket and said in an innocent and childish tone: "Mister that necklace in your pocket belongs to my mom. Could you give it back? After all stealing is bad."

Hearing his words the Spirit Master thief simply showed a slight sneer as he replied: "Oh? And what makes you so sure that this is your mother's and not mine kid?"

Haoxin then shook his head and replied in a childish but insistent tone: "No there is no mistake! That is definitely my mom's necklace!"

Hearing the boy speak in a loud tone, the thief's expression became irritated. He was afraid that someone might end up hearing the boy.

He then said in a cold tone: "Shut your mouth kid if you know what's good for you!"

He then ignored Haoxin and tried to quickly walk passed the boy. But before he could do so, the boy immediately blocked his way and said in loud voice: "Please return my mother's necklace!"
