Chapter 7: Preparing for the Hunt!

At this moment Haoxin could be seen sitting cross legged in the middle of a grassy field within Old Diamond's garden. In his hand were large pieces of white grass that gave off a bit of luster.

Haoxin then asked: "So what exactly is the purpose of these white grass that you had me pick?"

Old Diamond: "It's called Body Purifying White Grass. It's purpose is to cleanse your body and remove impurities once eaten."

"I see..." Said the brown haired boy as he threw the large pieces of white grass into his mouth and began chewing.

Gulp

"This grass doesn't taste bad at all." Thought the boy after swallowing the large pieces of grass.

At that moment Haoxin immediately felt something from his body.

"C-Cold..." Muttered the boy as he felt a slight chill down to his very bones.

Old Diamond: "Don't use your spirit power to resist the cold. Let the herb do it's work. Close your eyes and try to calm yourself down."

Haoxin then nodded and did just that. Upon closing his eyes and trying to relax, he immediately realized that the garden's sweet aroma helped calm himself down much easily.

By this point Haoxin statrted to sense that the slight cold feelling had not only reached every part of his body, but even the inside of his bones as well.

By this point Haoxin couldn't help but bite his lower lip. Although the cold feeling within his bones was something he could easily endure, it still felt quite irritating for him.

After a few minutes, something began to change. The slight chill suddenly turned into heat.

Old Diamond: "The cold feeling you felt before was basically the herb cleansing your body down to your bone marrow. The heat your feeling now is the herb evaporating your body's impurities."

After a few moments, small amounts of black smoke suddenly started to come out of Haoxin's pores. These were the impurities within his body.

When the small amounts of black smoke finally ceased coming out of his pores, Haoxin's skin could now be seen to have become smoother and clearer.

After another few minutes, the brown haired boy suddenly stood up, stretched his arms, took a deep breath then exclaimed: "I feel great!"

Old Diamond: "Thanks to the Body Purifying White Grass cleansing your body and removing it's impurities, your physical fitness has greatly increased while as your bones seem to have gotten slightly stronger as well. Besides this I believe the increase in your body's physical fitness might have also enhanced a certain aspect of your Spirit Heart."

Hearing this Haoxin couldn't help but be slightly excited and ask: "Really? Which aspect of my Spirit Heart has been enhanced?"

Old Diamond: "I'm not sure. How about we go try it out? Go enter my seventh cave young man."

Upon entering Old Diamond's seventh cave, Haoxin immediately found himself in a place that pretty much looked quite similar to a large circular stadium.

"Whoa!... What is this place Old Diamond?" Asked the boy.

Old Diamond: "This is my training field young man... This is where you'll be spending most of your time in the coming months."

Haoxin: "Training field?... Then... is there anything here that I can use as a target for my attacks or something?"

Old Diamond: "If you look to your left, you'll see a glass orb on top of a jade table."
