Chapter 4: Diamond Terra Paragon Transformation!

Staring at the small floating spirit bone Haoxin couldn't help but ask: "Old Diamond how difficult will it be to absorb your Spirit Bone?"

Old Diamond: "With your current body and mental strength, you should have around less than a 10% chance of succeeding in absorbing my spirit bone."

"That low?!" Exclaimed Haoxin in shock.

Old Diamond: "Indeed... and that's already taking into account the decrease in pressure due to you possessing my heart's blood essence and my spirit ring."

Hearing this Haoxin sighed as he thought: "Well I guess it is a ten million years spirit bone. It being extremely difficult to absorb should've been expected."

Old Diamond: "Young man I must remind you that when absorbing my spirit bone, you will undoubtedly experience unspeakable pain. What's more the chance of failure is also very high. However there is no need to worry I have the means to stop your absorbtion of my spirit bone without any backlash to you if your body truly cannot absorb it right now."

Hearing this Haoxin nodded and replied: "I see... Thank you Old Diamond."

In truth although Old Diamond had said that the boy had a 10% chance of succeeding, he actually firmly believed that in Haoxin's current state, the boy would still be unable to absorb his Ten Million years spirit bone. In fact the only reason he wasn't saying anything to prevent the boy from absorbing his spirit bone, is because he wanted to see the limits of the boy's will and endurance.

Old Diamond thought: "Now let's see how long you can endure it young man."

Haoxin then approached the Spirit Bone and sat down cross legged in front of it.

He then closed his eyes and began absorbing the Spirit Bone using the method that Old Diamond had thought him earlier.

The small turtle shell shaped spirit bone then began to shine the moment it was inches away from Haoxin's body.

Old Diamond: "Guide it slowly towards your left arm."

The boy nodded as he did just that and thought: "So I'm guessing this is a left arm Spirit Bone?"

The moment the spirit bone made contact with his left wrist....

"GAAAH!!!" Haoxin immediately felt immense excruciating pain from his arm up to his left shoulder.

"SHIT! Old Diamond was right this pain is no joke!" Thought the boy as he desperately tried to endure the agonizing pain.

He then gritted his teeth and thought: "No! I have to endure it! I can do this!"

"AAAGH!!!" By this point Haoxin felt as if his left arm was about to burst.

Old Diamond: "Quickly activate your Spirit Heart and release my Spirit Ring!"

Hearing Old Diamond's words the boy did just that.

Shiiing!

He was now covered in a magenta colored aura as a gold spirit ring emanating aurora light rose from below him.

"Ghh!" At that moment Haoxin felt the pain in his left arm weaken a lot.

"It's still... So painful!" Muttered the boy as he continued to endure the pain.

A few minutes later, the pain increased once again as the boy felt as if he was on the verge of passing out due to the sheer pain.

"Damn it's even more painful compared to how I died in my previous life!" Thought the boy as tears started running down his cheeks due to the sheer pain he felt as he continued to absorb the Spirit Bone.
