Chapter Six

I couldn't help but giggle a little bit,talking to Levy about all the stupid girly stuff that we were.A week had passed since my date with Natsu,since then there was little to no interaction with him.He was busy with all his other dates to catch up on,which i didn't mind.It allowed me more time to get used to everything.

Levy and i were getting along well,she had just finished her date with Natsu.Now she sat in my room,her legs criss crossed as she sat in front of me on my bed.She was excited to tell me about her date,as soon as she got into her night clothes her knock was on my door.

"It was actually really sweet because we were down by the kitchen and all the maids and chefs cleared out and we just did some cooking together!We made brownies and they tasted oddly great and it was just,it was fun!"

I laughed,pulling the comb through my hair as i listened to her story.I wasn't as excited to tell the story of my date,probably because my date wasn't exactly as normal as her's.We spoke about oddly deep and personal topics,meanwhile it sounded like Levy and Natsu spoke about sunshine and rainbows

"Oh and it was so funny but kinda cute at the same time,the flour went everywhere including all over his suit and my dress!I feel bad for my maid she's going to hate me when she sees it!"

I laughed a little,"at least you had fun right?"i asked,she nodded eagerly.I smiled and leaned back against the lush pillows,they were soft yet at the same time firm.I sighed in relief,in all the craziness of this whole situation at least i bonded with Levy.

"I'm glad i had fun with him though,like i'm not in love or something but he's nice!I won't be too upset if he lets me go home though,i'm not sure if i'm exactly his type after all.He wants queen material and we all know who that is."

"Don't say that,"i mumbled.The time i had been at the palace was so far okay,yet Lisanna made it still suck.She was pretentious and rude,definitely too stuck up as well.She had this attitude to her and it was just awful,however from what Natsu had said to me i couldn't assume he really wanted her.

"I just feel like now that he has all these other girls that maybe he won't pick her,he has so many more choices."

"He dismissed two girls after a date and he's already organised a second date with her though!"argued Levy.I rolled my eyes,letting out a smile.He could organise a second date with her if he pleased,it didn't bother me.I wasn't here because i wanted Natsu,but because my father wanted what his powers could do.

"I guess so,i mean who even knows at this stage?There's so many girls here let alone that we've only been here for just over a week,at this stage there's no definitive girl!"

I smiled,nodding in agreement.For a moment we sat in silence,however in the moment of silence everything felt wrong.I heard a bang in the distance,something that was loud.I glanced at Levy,she must've heard it too.I frowned and looked at her for longer,there was another bang.

"What's happening?"

I shrugged,than with no warning,there was a loud siren ringing through the palace.I covered my ears,"what the heck?"i asked.I stood up and walked over to the door,opening it up.I saw guards running around,knocking on the doors of different girls.I turned back to Levy,she frowned and stood up.

"Miss Lucy!Get out now!Come on!"

"Levy,"i muttered.A guard tried to grab me but i pushed him away,running towards Levy and grabbing her hand.I pulled her with me,despite her confused look."What's happening?"i asked the guard,he didn't answer.He grabbed my arm and began pulling me,i had to run to keep up with him.

I noticed other girls asking the same,asking and wondering why all of a sudden we were being pulled from our rooms.I was scared,let alone curious."We need to get them to the safe room,"said a guard,from one to the other.A safe room?Why did we need a safe room?
