[Tweek POV]

[Flashback || Two Years Ago]

Friday Night [12:34 am]:

He could hear the squeals of the monsters as they emerged from the thick fog. Some of them had scales, and teeth as sharp as knives. Others had feathers and took off into the sky, large enough to block the sun before they descended, diving towards him. He barely dodged it, rolling down the hill almost into the lake. He could feel his heart hammering in his chest, could hear the monsters as they screamed. He couldn't understand the words they were saying, but he could  understand that this was it. The freedom that they had been promised. He whipped around to be faced with another monster, something that looked like a large panther completely made of shadows , except with red eyes that stared him down before it pounced-

Tweek woke up with a start, sweat drenching his sheets as he thrashed around before he realized he was in his bed, safe. Safe for now.

Sunday Morning [10 am]:

Tweek stood outside Kenny's house with flowers, and knocked on the door.

Saturday night, Tweek had been hanging out with Kenny, Cartman, Stan, and Kyle. He preferred hanging out with his usual friend group rather than those four, mostly because they always seemed to get themselves in way over their heads in schemes. And that was just way too much pressure! Still, when his mom kicked him out of the house to get some fresh air, Tweek found he wasn't ready to face Craig after their fight. He didn't need help. Or maybe he did, but not the kind of help Craig was suggesting. So when he ran into Kyle and the redhead invited to hang out, Tweek agreed.

The group had been hanging out on the abandoned railroad when suddenly a train started coming down the tracks. The group had scrambled to get off the tracks, but Kenny had got stuck. Before any of the boys could go back for him, the train came down and ran him down.

Blood, body parts, flesh, and orange fabric splattered across the tracks were all that was left of Kenny.

Stan fell to the ground, his entire body shaking as he vomited on the brown grass. Kyle was screaming as he stumbled a few steps backwards. Cartman was just staring at the tracks, stunned into silence.

Tweek fell to the ground, muttering, "Oh fuck, oh fuck, he's dead."

"Tweek, shut the fuck up!" Cartman yelled, as if he couldn't bear to hear the truth of what was in front of them. Stan just stayed on the ground, dry heaving. At some point, he reached up to grab Kyle's hand, holding on for dear life.

Tweek didn't sleep that night.

Eventually, Tweek decided to get up and bring flowers to Kenny's family, maybe figure out when the funeral would be. Him and Kenny weren't close, but he owed his family at least that, right? It seemed like the right thing to do.

The door opened and a familiar laidback blonde opened the door. He grinned at Tweek with his crooked teeth, and for once had his orange hood down, so there was no mistaking who it was.

Kenny.

"What's with the flowers Tweekers? Come to ask me out?" Kenny teased as he ran his fingers through his hair.

Tweek's entire face paled as he looked at Kenny. "Wha-what the fuck dude?"

Kenny tilted his head slightly as his grin fell. "What's wrong Tweek?
