[Tweek POV]

[Flashback||One Year Ago]

Saturday Night [1:23 am] :

He could do nothing as he watched the car speed down the road, a familiar pickup truck that belonged to the Tucker family. He wasn't sure why he couldn't feel anything as he watched the car swerve until it crashed off the road into a tree. He could the large gash in Craigs' head, blood flowing from the wound. It was an empty road, and he was forced to watch until help finally came for Craig. Except by then, the dark haired teen had bled out.

Tweek woke up with a start, his heart hammering in his chest as he stared at the clock next to his bed, his body shaking so much he thought he might just fall apart into a million pieces, as if his body pieces were loosely connected to his chest, and could fly off with too much shaking.

Over the past year, as Tweek distanced himself further from his classmates, it was all too easy to slip into his old paranoia and anxiety. And the worst part that the more he focused on finding information into the cult, and let his brain spin into theories until he was swerving close to the point of insanity, the clearer his dreams were. He wasn't just seeing future visions of the portal splitting open, he could now even predict different big events. Sometimes he could even see them while he daydreamed.

Now he was stumbling for his phone, cursing softly as he dropped it before he finally picked it up, hoping that his ex hadn't blocked him as he dialed his phone number.

It took three calls Craig answered. "What the hell do you want?" His words were slurred and slower than normal, and Tweek could hear music and the noise of other people in the background. Craig was at a party, probably Clydes'. He often saw posts on Clydes' Instagram of Craig sulking before he flipped off Clyde when he realized his friend was filming him.

"Craig listen-"

"Oh I should listen." The bitter laugh that came from the other end made Tweek wince. "You didn't fucking listen to me. Not when I asked for you back, not when I asked to fucking explain how you could throw away years of our-"

"Craig I-I'm fu-fucking sorry man-"

"Uh huh, you've said that a lot." Tweek hated that he made Craig this way, that even after a year Craig was still this angry. "I miss you, you fucking asshole."

"I miss you too." Immediately afterwards Tweek spoke, he put his hand to his mouth, as if to take back the words. He did miss Craig, but it did nothing to admit that.

"Then why did you break up with me?"

Tweek sighed, Craig had asked him those questions quite a few times, and he hated that he couldn't tell him the truth. "We just aren't good for each other right now." At least that was truthful, though it still obscured what was motivating the blonde.

"That's not a fucking answer."

"Craig, I can't talk about this-"

"Oh of fucking course! I should of known-"

"CRAIG!" Tweek yelled into the phone, "Will you please just listen to me? I need to tell you-"

"No, fuck you." The other line hung up, and Tweek resisted the urge to scream at into the early morning darkness. He stared at his phone. Craig was at a party, but Tweek had no idea if he had a ride home. If he was going to get in a car accident, it would only make sense it would happen when Craig was drunk. Tweek kept trying to call, but eventually it was clear Craig was ignoring him.
