Chapter Ten 1.2 - Mistletoe.

Eva and I went to the mall to do some needed shopping, we brought so many lingeries and beautiful dresses. We also bought some Christmas gifts for our Christmas party tonight. I'm so excited for Seth's supposed "surprise" for me, I have a surprise for him too and he will absolutely love it.

"Eva, let's take a selfie." I chirped as we paid for all the presents we brought for everyone.

"But you lost your phone back in Pensacola, remember?" She said, giving me a small smile.

I smirked at her and ran my hands through my Louis Vuitton handbag as I took out my new iPhone with a new case, which I just bought earlier. Her eyes shimmered as she snatched the phone from my hand and began looking through my apps and stuff. I just laughed at her expression, she's such a child sometimes but I'm glad we're friends again. She's a true friend, unlike the other girls who I used to call my "friends".

"What? Seth bought you this?" Eva asked in disbelief.

I nodded, "Yes. And in return, I bought him that special gift." I smirked.

She smiled, "You guys are too adorable." Eva complimented.

I blushed, "Thanks. I hope you and Jonathan make up though."

She sighed deeply and handed me back my phone, "I hate taking breaks. Especially after my surgery."

"But a break is what you two need, especially after you two have been having problems for a while." I stated.

"I miss him." Eva said, obviously on the verge of tears.

I hugged her as she cried on my dress, I rubbed her back and she sighed before pulling away.

"Thanks." Eva said, smiling as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"No problem." I said, rubbing her back again.

"I have a present for you, I might as well give it to you now though." Eva said.

"No, you'll ruin the surprise! Just give it to me at the party." I whined as she laughed.

"Fine." She said.

As Eva and I took all our bags full of stuff, my phone began buzzing. I took it out from my purse and saw that Seth was calling, I pressed the 'answer' button and pressed the phone through my ear.

S: Nicole?
N: Hey babe. What's wrong?
S: Nothing. Just getting stuff done around here. Where are you girls? I thought you were gonna go back to the hotel room after eating?
N: We went shopping.. No biggie, we're heading home now.
S: Alright. Be safe driving, okay?
N: Yes.. I love you.
S: I love you too, princess.. See you soon.

The call ended and we piled all our shoppings bags in the back of my car. Eva suggested to drive, and I was really hesitant. She's the worst driver I know, really. One time, we were in San Antonio for house shows and Eva & I were travel buddies. She and I hated each other back then, so we weren't exactly on the same page before. Anyway, she 'accidentally' put the car into reverse when she's supposed to put it on acceleration. She slammed the rental car into a brick wall, we had to pay for it.

"No." I said.

"But why?" She whined.

"Because, I don't want the 'San Antonio' incident to happen again.. Especially to my car." I said.
