Chapter Eighteen - Conflict
Buffalo, New York
| Nikki Bella's Point Of View |
It's been a pretty rough couple of weeks. I haven't had the chance to talk to Randy since he was too busy with interviews and guest appearances, Seth has been ignoring me for no apparent reason, I've been sidelined for too long due to my injury and I never got my chance at the Divas Championship from Paige. The only good thing is my hip is starting to heal up and I hope to be ready to get back in the ring soon.
It is a very cold morning here in Buffalo, it's practically raining almost everyday. I just woke up from a very needed rest, well not really needed. I've been sleeping almost half the time of my little vacation, which is so not me. As I sat up, I started to feel dizzy. I quickly jolted to the bathroom and threw up on the toilet, which has been going for a couple of days now.
"Why am I being this way? I hate being sick." I mumbled as I flushed the toilet.
Well, I'm not really feeling sick but I look sick however. I haven't even told anyone about my condition, not even my own friends or boyfriend. I got so worried when I threw up a lot yesterday morning, the vomit just won't stop and it scared me half to death. Plus, I have been getting migraines and headaches a lot as well. Maybe it's stress, maybe it's a disease, who knows.
"I need to tell someone, but who?" I mumbled to myself as I thought.
I decided to call my trustee friend, Eva.
"Hello?" Eva spoke groggily.
"Hey, sorry if I woke you up this early." I said.
"No, it's cool." She yawns, "So what's up?"
"Can you come to my hotel room. I want to tell you in person." I said, keeping the worry away from my tone.
"Is everything okay?" Eva asked.
"Just get down here, I'll explain when you get here. Please hurry." I said.
"I'll be there in three minutes." Eva said.
"Thanks. See you." I said as the line went dead.
A few minutes later, Eva rushed in the hotel room in her night gown. Her hair was a mess and there was still toothpaste on her lip, I couldn't help but giggle. Eva was panting loudly, she was trying to catch her breath. She sat down on the couch and managed to speak up, now I was nervous.
"So what's wrong? You sound worried on the phone?" Eva asked.
"I tried not to sound worried, I just can't help it." I said, taking a seat next to her.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Eva asked worriedly.
I smiled at her, "No.. But there is something wrong with me." I said, looking down.
"Well, spill it out then. You scared me for a second." Eva said.
"Is it normal for sick people to vomit a lot?" I asked, she gave me weird look.
She pressed her palm on my forehead and neck, "Hm, you don't seem sick to me."
"But I've been vomiting a lot in the morning, and I have a headache right now." I said.
Eva's mouth went agape, "Did you say morning?" Eva asked.
"Yeah, why?" I asked.
I looked at her for a few minutes before getting the idea.
"Hell to the no!" I said, crossing my arms.
"Have you done it with Randy before?" Eva asked.
"Yeah, when he was not this busy." I answered.
