Miko subconsciously flinched as her brain registered yelling then pain as she subconsciously grabbed at her midsection, her arms not only wrapping around her stomached but also what she came to the conclusion of being her bag's. Just now opening her eye's she was met with the harsh look of Jeromy, her host parent's eldest son though currently that's who she guessed she was looking at considering how tall he was, and he did look older then Miko herself.
"What was that for?" She asked, grunting as she slowly stood up, using the open-door frame beside her to steady herself as she swayed for a moment.
"Mom wanted me to ask if you needed a ride or if you're getting one from your so called 'friends' again. Oh, also just because I felt like it." Jeromy said with a twisted smile and shrug.
"I have one, I think." She muttered after a moment. She looked down at her bag and noticed her phone in one of the side pocket's.
"You've got five minutes then." Jeromy stated, laughing as he headed down the stairs.
For a moment Miko just stood there confused until suddenly she realized something.
"Shoot, school!" She exclaimed, soon following after Jeromy, nearly tripping on the last step when a foot suddenly came out of nowhere. She glared at the owner of the foot, Jeromy for a split second before once again realizing what she was late for, grabbed her giant stack of textbooks from the kitchen table and rushing out the door once more.

The ride to school was so awkward for Miko. Bulkhead, her supposed guardian had tried multiple times to create some sort of conversation with Miko only for the conversations to end with only one or two words for a reply from Miko. Miko was just glad to finally be at the school to end her silent awkward suffering. Upon stepping into the school, she was automatically met with an empty hallway which told her class's had already started. Part of her was relived as she didn't want to face the stairs of other student's but then again she guessed it was about to happen. After stopping by her locker {only knowing it was hers by the paper Rafael had given her with all her school information on it such as her locker number and combination} she found her self standing in front of her first hour class: History. After a moments hesitation she finally knocked on the door, jumping back a little bit when the door opened suddenly revealing a way two excited teacher who looked to be in her sixties or even seventies to Miko.
"Miss. Nakadai, Welcome back!" the teacher stated, causing Miko to flinch at the volume of her voice.
"Hello Miss.-" She paused for a minute to lean back and look at the name plate next to the room number, "Miss. Andrews." she greeted.
Miss. Andrews, the history teacher quickly beckoned the teenager in. Like any teenager at school, Miko begrudgingly stepped inside. A part of her wanted to walk back out at the sight of how many pairs of eyes were staring at her but she stood in place for a second before walking to the back of the classroom where an open desk was, the only one in the room which told her it must have been hers if this was the full class, well assuming any way's. Walking back, she could still feel the stairs of the student's along with some whispering, some students louder then other's though one in particular caught her attention as she heard her name being Mentioned. Sitting down finally she took out a notebook and pencell. As Miss. Andrews got back to teaching Miko looked around the room. Her nerves settled when she noticed Jack sitting in the middle of the class. She was happy to know that they shared the class even if Jack hadn't told her they did.
Miko's attention settled on a crumpled-up piece of paper that had landed on her desk. Confused for a moment she picked it up and began to quietly unfold it. 'Is it true that you lost your memory in the accident you where in?' was written neatly in pencil. Miko looked up and noticed as red headed girl staring at her, a smile on her face though Miko couldn't tell if the smile was genuine or if there was something else to it.
'Yes.' She hesitantly wrote back, carefully folding the paper back up and tossing it back to the red head who easily caught it. For the next thirty minutes the two teenager's quietly tossed the piece of paper back and forth, the girl Miko had figured out to be named Sierra, writing questions which Miko answered, well most any way's. Some she chose not to and would instead write her own question's. The bell rang signaling the end of class. Miko, who some what felt like Sierra must have been her friend before since she appeared to know so much about her, had decided to take Sierra up on the offer of sitting with her and her friends at lunch instead of Jack and Raf who had invited her to do so with them. She figured they could all sit together since Sierra sounded like she was genuine about being friend's.
The next three classes went rather quickly which Miko didn't mind one bit. When the bell rang for a fourth time Miko followed the somewhat small flow of students heading to the cafeteria. Not really knowing what to expect she got in line for the lunch which today was apparently 'Enchilada Day' which explained the lack of kids in the cafeteria. School lunch never disappointed when it come to disappointing food. After getting her food she stopped for a moment, looking around for the family red head. Just as she had given up and was going to sit with Jack and Raf she jumped when someone purposely bumped her shoulder, not to hurt her but as a way to get her attention.
"C'mon, we're over here." Sierra stated, smiling.
"Is it okay if Jack and Raf join us?" Miko asked hesitantly. She supposed she should have asked sooner but she didn't think about it.
Sierra's seemingly innocent smile faltered for a minute as it turned into a frown. She shook her head, venom lacing her next wood's. "We don't associate ourselves with the freak show's. You of all people should know that after all we were friend's before your accident." There was something about the way Sierra stated that that Miko didn't like. Just the way she said 'freak show's' didn't sit right with Miko not to mention just the fact calling someone that wasn't even right in the first place.
"Why not, their nice and-" Miko began but was cut off when Seirra dropped her plate on the table that was now before them and then sat down.
"Why would you want to associate yourself with some freaks who talk to vehicles? You weren't like this before, why now?"
Miko was confused as she stood there for a moment. She debated if what Sierra was saying was true, true about how she was before what ever accident she was in. "Their not that bad, why-" She tried again but was once again cut off though this time it was by someone sitting down right next to her. Miko looked over at a teenage boy about a year older. He was the definition of 'jock' as he appeared to be joking with a few other boy's who had sat down right after him. For a moment he hadn't noticed Miko until he had turned, expecting to see Sierra but instead was met with Miko.
"Why's the frea-" He began but, like Miko was before, cut off by Sierra who had clearly faked a cough to get his attention.
"Don't you remember, Vince? Do you have amnesia two? This is our friend." She stated, a smirk slowly appearing on her face as she appeared to be emphasizing nearly every other word in each sentence.
Miko looked between the two. From Vince's blank face and Sierra's {quite creepy in Miko's opinion} smirk she was really starting to wonder if this was right. For a moment Vince was quit before he suddenly nodded. "Right." He said, looking at Sierra for a moment then two Miko with a smirk that could Mirror Sierra's. Miko looked down at her plate of food unsure. Something didn't sit right with her about the statement and so, because of that thought and feeling.
"No." She stated suddenly, gaining the attention of Sierra and everyone else at the table. "No, you're not my friends." She abruptly then stood up, picked up her plate and walked away from the group of whom she had a strange feeling weren't her actual friends and by doing so she could hear an audible frustrated huff causing her to smile to herself, something that was now becoming rear no-a-days.
