Miko crossed her arms as she stared at the cup of Energon that had been placed in front of her. She huffed as she looked pointedly at Ratchet as if she expected Ratchet to suddenly change his processor about the little 'experiment' he had decided was the right idea to try with Miko even if Miko was the only test subject. Millions of scenarios played out through her brain as she then looked down at the cup dejectedly. With one final huff she picked up the cub but yet still glared at the Autobot medic. "If I die from this stuff, it's on you Doc-Bot." She stated.

Miko could tell Ratchet was holding back a retort as he looked down at her place on the catwalk. For a moment Ratchet wondered if it was worth giving Miko the satisfaction of a reaction out of him but after a moment he decided to hold his ground about the situation. "I told you beforehand that June will be here in a few minutes in case something does happen-" As if on que or hearing the medic the sound of the old middle silo main entrance opening and a car engine being heard was very much evident causing Miko to huff at the mention and knowing that June would most likely be standing next to her in a few seconds, "-but this should be safe for you, maybe even turn out to be what you survive on if it works since obviously human food isn't working anymore."

Miko scoffed. "'Should'." She repeated, "That's a classic."

"Think about it this way kid, if it doesn't work, we move on to plan B." Wheelback stated, smirking at the teen.

Miko didn't even want to know what this supposed 'plan B' was. She looked down at the cup one last time before closing her eye's and downing the cup in one go. For a moment she tasted latterly nothing but then the taste hit her all at once and she couldn't decide if she actually enjoyed the substance considering how it only tasted like candy to her. She looked up at Ratchet with a clear indication of confusion on her face which Ratchet somehow understood.

"It's flavored differently for you specifically. Thank June for the idea of flavoring it since apparently human's prefer unflavored thing's flavored. " He stated.

For a moment Miko glanced down the catwalk to the June's car pulling in. She watched as June waved to the others in greeting as she headed up towards Miko who by then had looked back down at the cup in hand. 'Just do it, you have nothing to lose' she told herself as she then drank the hole cup in one go, her face scrunching up at the off but family taste of the slightly thick substance
"So, I drank it, what now?" Miko asked curiously.

"Well since you didn't have an immediate reaction you will stay here for at least a few days and-"

"But I leave for home on Friday and it's Wednesday so technically I'll only be here for tomorrow." Miko pointed out. Miko could have sworn she saw Ratchet frown at the statement, that frown seeming to have a deeper meaning then his usual 'stop acting like an idiot' frown that she would sometimes receive if she said or did something relatively stupid that fell under the 'Wrench Lord's' annoyance radar that he seemed to have. She shrugged it off figuring the deeper meaning part of her thoughts was just her over thinking his usual reaction to things that the kid's would do or say.

June placed a hand on Miko's shoulder as she smiled. "Don't worry about that, Fowler has worked out the details. You are still going home but only long enough for you to get some more cloths and such then you'll be back here under the disguise of a 'government internship'." June Explained a small smile gracing her lips as she glanced at Ratchet who tended at first but soon relaxed and appeared to breathe a sigh of relief at the woman's explanation.

Miko didn't know why she dreaded leaving. Surely, she would be happy to leave a place she was familiar with but at the same time felt different, right?

Right?!

Suddenly Miko felt a weight drop into her head causing her to momentarily jump from the sudden force of what ever had landed on her head and also forget about her dreaded thoughts. Upon further inspection she was relieved to figure out it was just Ratbat as he managed to somehow balance himself as he looked down at her upside down. Miko smiled as she carefully pulled the Robotic bat off her head, careful not to possibly disturb its injured bay-like wings in the process. After convincing Ratchet to at least check over the small Decepticon it was discovered his wings were mildly injured, each e jury at various stages of healing but also some appearing to be corroded and even infected. A normal medic would have probably missed what was wrong and just simply patched the small Decepticon up but Ratchet, working with youngling's and Sparkling's in the past, knew he needed to look further into the wounds seeing as sparkling's of all ages tended to get themselves into trouble in various ways. {And he considered it a favor to Miko given she had practically begged him to when she had noticed the wounds upon being in brighter lighting in the first place.}

The Decepticon organic Bat Look-alike appeared to be smiling as he seemingly appeared to be talking those his talking wasn't understandable to Miko but Ratchet appeared to be able to decipher some of what he was saying given that he sighed, explained to him what was going on then appeared to reply back on understanding when Ratbat had tilted his helm, squeaked, then finally had turned to Miko though the latter went unnoticed as Miko looked up at Ratchet questionably.

"Did you just answer back?" Miko asked, confusion evident on her face as she starred up at Ratchet, the medic then handing Ratbat a smaller version of a normal Energon Cube.

"Sparkling's have their own dialect they speak in, each different from each other. It can take anywhere from hours to days or even weeks for a parental unit to decipher the language." The medic exclaimed.

"Then how do you understand what he's saying?" Miko paused for a second as if contemplating her own question but then spoke once more, an accusatory look on her face, "Is there something you're not tell me Doc-Bot?" She asked pointing s finger at him.

Ratchet scoffed. "I'm a medic, I adapt quicker to most dialects for that reason that's why majority of the time I knew what you wanted without you saying anything at least in English when you were considered to be Cybertronian."

"What so how many languages do you speak then?" Miko asked, genuinely curious as to how someone could possibly know more than 2 languages.

"Naturally all of them though Human languages are a little more difficult considering how your species voice patterns don't exactly have what you would call a 'mechanical' undertone to them."

Miko appeared to slip back into her normal way to carious self for a split second before suddenly going quit. She staired off into 'space' momentarily before shaking her head as of to bring her out of whatever trance she was in. She looked down at her hand's, vision blurring slightly.

"Hey Ratch'," she began as she looked up from her lap, "When I first woke up and was at my host family's house, I- I think I pasted out and head a vision like dream of what I'm assuming to be the first time I met you guys or at least Arcee." Miko didn't know why she brought it up, maybe because she felt like she needed to but then again it had happened nearly a week ago and she hadn't experienced anything of the sort since then but given her current feeling of feeling like she could pass out she decided it might be worth to bring it up since she was feeling how she did then. "H-how did I meet you guys?" She asked after a moment.

Ratchet took the now empty Energon Cube from Ratbat and sighed softly. He should have known that this conversation would come up, not that it was a bad thing he just should have expected her to at least ask how or even why they met in the first place. "According to Arcee and Jack you were eavesdropping on their... argument when you decided to show you're self by saying, and I quote, 'Dude, what are you waiting go for? Go with.'" While there wasn't much enthusiasm on the ending of that sentence something told her that Ratchet was telling the truth which caused her to smile.

"I-I used to be so happy." She muttered though it was still heard by the medic.

Ratchet sighed. For once it wasn't a sigh of annoyance though it was more of a sigh of sympathy for the teenager. Part of him was still angry, furious even at the Decepticon who had caused this whole ordeal in the first place. He would pay be it either by his own servos or the teams.
