i never once deem myself a painter conveying a blank canvas entirely with a finished romance novel or an artisan molding clay to represent the totality of our experiences but i envision loving you like how it is portrayed in classical movies.
i'd chase you down the pouring rain until you won't even be visible anymore because of the tears brimming my eyes, i'd hope the raindrops would be enough to mask my pain as it would be such a shame for you to watch me set aflame to ashes. there, i discover love is forgiving and patient.
blending in with colorful graffiti and slippery stairways, i'd catch my breath a thousand times even if it means being a few seconds early before the train arrives. a bit desperate but worth it, as long as i'd get to deliver you your morning forehead kiss before you leave. i heave deeply while i wave you goodbye, love sometimes goes the extra mile.
