ÍROAS

My supposedly nauseating ride becomes a lonely, nonchalant journey. No matter how much we sped up, or the constant questions and regards of the gray sisters, I just kept my gaze locked on the blurry view behind the window, lost in thoughts.

As we reached the end of London, we entered through the spiraling blue clouds of vortex. And in the blink of an eye, we were in the busy streets of New York. And despite our sudden appearance in the middle of the city with a glowing portal slowly closing behind us, no one seemed to notice. While those who starred seem to care less.

"Don't worry boy, no one will see through the mist." Said by Wasp (The one on the wheels)

"The mist covers the supernaturals from the mortal eye and replaces them by something they could only comprehend." Added by Anger (Sitting next to Wasp)

"I didn't ask."

"Sure you didn't." Tempest snorted.

By the time we reached our destination, the sun was about to set. The fondle of wind crawled through my skin as I stepped out of the cab. And I can tell the breeze is definitely different, as well as the ambiance.

"Weirdly... I feel at home." I mumbled, staring at the building ahead. But I immediately crossed that thought out and pulled all my things outside the car along with my owl who (by the grace of the Gods) didn't peck me out of its anger. I let it fly and breathe some fresh air.

I gave all the remaining drachmas I have to the gray sisters and entered the building, going straight to our apartment.

But as I tried to open the door, just then I realized I didn't have its key. Cursing myself inside, I banged my head against the wooden door and closed my eyes.

But doing that just made everything worse as it made all that happen come back to me... Me being the son of the most wanted villain, the man who killed my best friend's parents. And now he couldn't even look at me, even Ron, whose sister was possessed by my father's memory. – The seven men I've killed. – And Hermione who fell victim to my abilities.

As I let go of the things I'm holding, along with them, I fell to my knees while trembling. I couldn't process anything anymore.

"Why won't this stupid door open up!!?"

"Stupid door!"

"Stupid door!"

"Stupid... Iro! You're so stupid!"

It took me a few minutes to calm myself down. And when I finally did, there's one thing that came to me that I realized I could use now. Jumping into the shadows and appearing into a different place.

"But I don't know how..." I mumbled.

I tried to remember how I did that the last time, but my mind was too full to even find it in my scattered thoughts.

"I feel like the world's letting me down on purpose."

"Should I use the Unlocking Charm instead?" I asked myself. But that option was a big NO. We weren't allowed yet to use magic outside the school.

"So what should I do now?"

I'm still crouching in front of the doorway, dwelled by this suffocation when I feel someone approaching in my direction. I wasn't really expecting anyone, but as I heard the person's surprise voice, calling my name, it felt like he brought an ease to my heart I never knew I'd still have after knowing about the truth.

"Iro? Is that you?" he called. "Hey! It really is you!"

Knowing whose voice was that, I turned my head around and stood,
