Poem to the Lord.

Lord I come before You,

With questions buried so deep.

This one concerns Your word,

Your word that I desire to keep.

I feel I've been cruel,

Not loving or gentle.

But I pray Your Spirit rules,

Deep in my hearts mantle.

I want my fruits to be fresh,

Not rotting, nor gray.

I want to make You smile,

Each and every day.

Cleanse me and purify me,

I really want to please You.

I hate the thought of evil,

Your will is what I desire to do.

Pour Your fruits into my spirit,

Love, Joy, Peace.

Let them rule my life,

All Months, Days, and Weeks.

Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law."
