Okay... Today is the day. I'll finally tell him. There'll be no way around it. Thinking about that, I got up and faced my unpleasantly dirty mirror.
I looked like a hamster as I squished my cheeks like a freaking idiot. I can do this. Well... I think so, at least.
To be honest, I'd rather just drop dead on to the floor and never get back up again, so I wouldn't force myself to tell him. But I can't keep hiding my feelings and act like I'm some sort of dull rock.
Also, the YouTube-guy straight up said, that I should tell him. And if a guy I don't know personally said so... Obviously I'll do what he suggested. Like, why not?
Sighing, I put my brown hair up and straightend my amazingly, womanly shirt that made me look like a ghost. Alright, again. Just to make sure. I, Cosima Michaels, will walk up to him and tell him that I want him to be more than just my best friend.
"Hey, what's up?" I finger-gunned at my mirror and I instantly wanted to point my fingers to the side of my head and pull the trigger. Oh my god, that... No, that's horrible. I can't even justify whatever I just did. I'm so sorry, you had to witness that.
"Noah, I have to tell you something..." Nah, that's too serious. Like, come on. He'll think I killed someone. "Cosima! Shirin's here!"That's my cue to get going. I didn't answer, though. I mean, why would I? I'm not a nice person.
I grabbed my jacket and stumbled down the stairs because I honestly am a bit late, but you know... There's more important stuff than school. For example: Noah.
"Bye!" I shut the door behind me and smiled at my best friend. You know... the best friend that's not Noah. Like my best best friend. Like the best friend I don't want to touch inappropriately.
"Cosmo?" She jokingly nudged me as I passed her because our bus should be here any second. "Wanda?" I laughed. The boys Noah and Myles were already at school because they had an early class. That's why we're taking the bus right now.
I don't have a car nor a license. Why might you wonder? You know, having a car and a license is only possible with money, which I obviously don't have either. Otherwise, I wouldn't dress like a homeless boy.
Normally, I would bribe my parents into buying me this stuff, but them I don't have either. They pretty much abandoned me when I was born.
In short, I grew up with my grandparents trying to raise me in a world they barely understand themselves. So, I basically ended up raising them.
Sadly, my grandpa had passed almost a year ago and now it's just me and Nonna, but we're going strong. "Please tell me you did our biology homework." I laughed and shook my head. She's funny. "I tried and failed so I gave up." We got on the bus, and I yawned thinking about homework. Why would she bring this up now? It's 9 am and she's already draining my energy with questions I don't want to hear nor answer. "But what if he has a quiz planned? We'd be fucked."
