I Wish You Were Mine

CHAPTER # 13

DESTINY'S POV 

" Dad will leave me like mom cause I am bad " , she had puffy eyes now and was sobbing .

Something in my heart ached watching her cry like this . No child deserves to feel so insecure and live thinking about such dreadful things all the time . This will ruin her mental health if not taken care of . Especially at such a tender age . I don't know what crossed my mind but that day I decided that I will never let my cotton candy cry ever again . 

I can't just bear the fact to see her like this . I took her in my lap . 

" Listen candy , You are the most adorable and the best girl of the world . Your dad loves you more than anything and will never leave you . you are his life baby . "

this might have worked a bit cause she her  sound of sobbing were dropping down slowly.

"you should not let anyone let you think like this . You know your dad right ? how much he cares for you . if you will think like this it will also hurt him ."

"but then mumma never come to me . what if dad will also go ?" She whispered as if dreaded to even think so . 

"that day would never come candy . " I assured her 

"reawllly ?" She had hope in her eyes now . '

" yes baby . you will always have your dad , uncle xavier  and....." 

"and grandma grandpa?" i was about to complete my sentence when she interrupted.

i smiled at her response and nodded " and grandma grandpa ."

" and uncle leo .... ? "

" yes !" I said  well i don't even know who he is but seems like an important person for her 

"and you.....?" 

"and m..... "wait what . I looked at her , she had hope in her eyes .Something in  me was really happy that she also considers me as an important person in her life . Even though I am a temporary nanny , I did not wanted her to be sad and so i replied  "Yes baby . you have me ."

she gleamed at me and hugged me tight . Well atleast its not all lie. I am here for her for now .

Later she played for a while and slept again . this much of crying for a day really took a toll on her . I kissed her goodnight and went downstairs . As i was to leave , a deep voice stopped me . 

"Wait " I dont't need to look back to know who that voice belongs to .
