Maeve Easton loves to talk a lot and dress up. Making new friends and learning new things about the supernatural world is her hobby. Maeve was born a human but she was later turned into a vampire by Rebekah Mikaelson. Maeve was raped by a gangster and left behind to die in a dark alleyway. But luckily, Rebekah passes by and senses her blood. She immediately saves the girl and turns her into a vampire. Maeve loves being strong and has no remorse for being a vampire.
Later on, she's been introduced to Klaus and her bubbly personality amuses him to the point she becomes one of his most trusted people. They become close friends and partners in crime the moment Klaus offers his help to take revenge on her rapists.
Maeve's relationship with Stefan in modern days is going to be a slowburn. She doesn't recognize him first but when Klaus lifts the compulsion, she does. They first meet in 1920 and build up a strong, romantic relationship between them. But Klaus compels off her memories of Stefan the moment she refuses to leave without him when they had to flee Chicago.
Since Klaus only compels Stefan to think Maeve died, Stefan recognizes Maeve at the moment he sees her with Klaus. His memories are unclear but it's pretty enough for him to recognize her and the relationship they had.
Witchcraft always tends to amaze her. That's why she somehow manages to befriend Bonnie Bennett.
