Maeve, Klaus and Stefan have been on the road for two months, the group has now arrived in Tennessee looking for some werewolves to create hybrids. Klaus and Maeve walk up to a white house a women walks outside, she bends down to pick up a toy, Maeve appears in front of her with Klaus standing in the shadows behind her.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" "can I help you" the blonde looked at Maeve, raising her brow "yeah, uh, my car ran out of gas a couple miles back I've been walking forever. Yours is the first house I came across, so I was just hoping I could use your phone" "don't you have a cell phone" the blonde asked rudely, Maeve pulls out her cellphone "yeah uh, the battery died look, I promise, I'm not a serial killer, I just wanna use your phone" The blonde sighs "sure" Maeve smiles "so can I come in" "no, I'll get the phone and bring it out to you"

Maeve drops her kindness "I thought you country folks were supposed to be trusting" "I'm from Florida" the girl answered with a sly look "well that explains it"

Klaus comes out from the shadows, he grabs her throat and compels her "show us a little southern hospitality, sweet pea" someone starts yelling from inside "I bet you a hundred dollars that dog ran off to a house with air conditioning" Maeve, Klaus and the blonde girl snuck in the house, the other women turns around and sees them and the first women entering the kitchen, Klaus is holding the her neck the first woman is sobbing "what's going on?" she asked frightened

"please don't be alarmed" Klaus smirks "I was told Ray Sutton lives here"

"He's almost never here," she spoke up seeing the little patience Klaus had on his face, "he's on the road mostly" Klaus stayed calmed "but I expect he makes it home once a month" the woman looked away "that's what I thought, where is he now" the women stood still not saying anything "if you don't answer my friend over here is gonna make you tell me and it's going to be more painful for you" he smiles and looks at Maeve.

The girl runs towards the door only to be greeted by Stefan "I love it when they run don't you" Maeve smirks "I do" giving up the girl shouted "he's in Toll, it's near the border a bar called Southern Comfort it's on Highway 41"

Klaus touches the girls hair "now may my friend come in" the women crying "yes" Stefan entered the house, the women looked terrified. Maeve felt bad for him, she knows the only reason he's doing this is because of Klaus, over the course of their time together she could tell Stefan's hatred for Klaus is growing each day they're on the road "kill this one quickly"

Klaus speaks, pushing the blonde to Stefan "make this one suffer, I'll be in the car" Maeve started feeding on the other women while Stefan fed on the blonde, they both start screaming "I am so sorry about this love" outside the house on his way to the car, Klaus is smiling.

Maeve had killed the one women while Stefan kept feeding on the blonde and eventually her head came off.

The journey to toll wasn't that long, Maeve opens her eyes to see a rundown bar, they walk in and compel everyone and later on Ray walks into the bar "hey red, get me a beer" they come up next to him "ray?ray sutton" Ray turns around and sees them "who wants to know" "you see I've been looking everywhere for you"

"We first started in Florida I met a young chap there who you used to work with before you moved to Memphis, and he directed me to two lovely women and they led me here, to you"

"I think I'll be going" Ray tries walking away but he runs into Stefan "Not so fast mate you just got here, now your type are very hard to come by" Ray just looked at him, Maeve can see the fear in his eyes "vampires" ray realized.

"You're swift Ray, yes my friends here are vampires. They've compelled everybody in the bar so don't look to them for any help, I however, am something else, a different kind of monster, I've got some vampire, I've got some wolf" ray looks shocked "your what?" "he's a hybrid ray, both" Maeve replied, Klaus smiles "you see I want to create more of me. Now you being the first werewolf that I've come across in many a moon, pun intended, I need you to direct me to your pack so, where can I find them Ray"

"you can't compel me, it won't work" Maeve and Stefan look at each other then back at Klaus, Stefan was waiting for nik's signal. Once he got it Stefan pulled something out of his back pocket and spoke to the bartender "scotch on the rocks please" Maeve smiles "tell you what, Ray we're gonna play a little drinking game, something I call truth or wolfsbane"

Maeve and Klaus we're having shots while Stefan was throwing darts at Ray who was chained to a wall "you can end this right now just tell me where your pack gathers for the full moon" ray winches in pain "I can't"

Stefan nods and throws another dart "I know, I know you live by code and all that, but see he's not gonna let me stop until you tell me I do whatever he says, that's the way it goes around here" A women walks over to Klaus. Maeve and Stefan eavesdrop "hello mister Klaus, I have some more information for you. You told me to tell you if I heard anything, the guys spotted Damon at the farm house" Klaus smiles "thank you Claudine" the women walks away, Stefan walks up to Nik "my brother still on our tail?"

"He's getting closer, I'll have to deal with him" Stefan grabs Klaus arm "no, let me handle it" "why should I let you leave"

Maeve rolls her eyes "cause you know I'll come back"

"do I?"

Maeve butts in "let him go Niklaus, he'll come back" Klaus looks at Maeve and nods "you saved my brother's life, I'm at your service, I'll make sure my brother doesn't bother us anymore" Stefan leaves.

Maeve unties Ray from the wall and secures him to the pool table. Klaus cuts his wrist and makes ray drink his blood "you'll thank me later, there we go, attaboy" Stefan arrives back at the bar and ray starts talking "what's gonna happen now" Klaus smirks "it's time for step 2, Ray" he snaps his neck killing him. Maeve and Klaus looks at Stefan, he looks so unemotional "your back" Stefan replies "did you doubt me" Maeve feels bad for him he's lost everything "not for a second, I knew you'd pass you still care for your brother, for your old life"

"no, I don't care about anything" Maeve frowns "you put on a good show Stefan. I almost believe you and I hope for your brother's sake, he does you never stop caring about family, do you every time you feed, the blood makes it easier to let go"

Stefan stared at Klaus as Maeve keeps her eyes on Ray she knew the Salvatore would never stop caring for his brother like she would never stop caring for the Mikaelson's.
