I could see from the clock over the bar that the concert had been going on for almost an hour now.
It's funny that during concerts you begin to feel so at home; you begin to get so comfortable around the artist that you don't feel nervous any longer.
Ed's beautiful white teeth were shown as he smiled as big as he could.
The feelings of pure admiration and and happiness from the crowd were reflected into Ed himself and shown in his eyes.
The pure passion was radiating off of him and filled the entire venue.
Shuffling my feet and leaning against the stage, I heard the first notes of You Need Me, I Don't Need You come from the speakers.
This rhythm hyped up the crowd who sent screams of satisfaction all around.
Ed began rapping the verses and I rapped right along with him the lyrics I had spent the entirety of my free time learning.
The whole audience was dancing around and keeping up with Ed as he jumped from speaker to speaker.
He reached out his hand, signaling us to shout the lyrics and we gladly screamed.
Jillian seemed to be having a great time as Ed split the crowd into two sides to battle against each other.
"It's from a film called West Side Story." Ed explained.
Pointing to the right side of the audience, he said, "Here all the way to the back and around to this side you guys are the Jets," and pointing to the left, "here all the way to the back around to this side you guys are the Sharks."
"In the film, Jets and Sharks fight each other carrying guns, bats, and knives. They're running towards each other just about to fight -ahhhh!- stop, sing. So that's what we're going to do but we're going to use volume not violence. Can I get a hell yeah?!" Ed exclaimed
A "Hell yeah!" Was chanted back, and Ed told the Jets to sing "Whoop whoop" and the Sharks to sing "That's the sound of the police."
We all yelled it and tried to win while Ed switched the phrases to lyrics of his song.
He never did tell us who won the competition, but I just think he wants everyone to feel as if they've won.
After You Need Me was over, he began strumming the chords to the song that started it all for many people.
"White lips, pale face, breathing in the snowflakes" rang through the audience of the now silent crowd.
He continued to sing in that angelic tone of his and tears started to come to my eyes.
In this moment I began to realize that it was almost over and the one person that had changed everything in my life was about to be taken away again only for me to be left alone with myself.
Suddenly I was terrified of what would happen after this night.
I was so focused on this night that it distracted me from all of the dangerous thoughts in my head.
I couldn't contain my anxiety any longer and the tears spilled over.
I suppose Jillian just figured I was crying from love or happiness.
I couldn't tell her the real reason yet; she didn't know about any of my problems.
I felt eyes on me though and felt a rush of embarrassment, but the tears wouldn't stop.
I looked around for who could be watching me and glanced up to meet a pair of crystal blue eyes.
