A Fallen Angel [Ed Sheeran Fanfiction]

Chapter 3

By the very first note of the song, I realized the song was Give Me Love which is one of my very favorite songs.

The sound his guitar made was beautiful, especially in person.

I mean, listening to him play on his album was beyond amazing but, listening live, it was absolutely perfect.

In the recently dimmed lighting, everyone in the building was screaming for the one they call their idol.

I recognized a familiar figure emerging out of the darkness as Give Me Love continued.

The light hit his ginger hair and suddenly, there was Ed Sheeran; the man whose music has saved my life.

I just can't believe I am in the same room as him.

Sometimes it just doesn't even seem like he was a real person, but here he was right there on the stage.

Ed walked up to the microphone and let out a crystal clear note that made everyone in the room scream and some cry.

Then, he started singing the lyrics and the crowd joined in.

"Give me love like her. 'Cause lately I've been waking up alone."

I'm still in shock that he is right in front of me, but I begin singing along.

"Paint splattered tear drops on my shirt. I told you I'd let them go."

As he finished singing the rest of the song, the audience errupted into applause.

In his beautiful accent, Ed said, "Hey! How are you all doing tonight?"

Causing the crowd to scream at the top of our lungs.

"It's great to see all of you as well!" Ed said chuckling slightly at our reaction.

He began singing his song Drunk and the crowd continues to scream the lyrics.

A few songs later, he began to tell a story as we all began to get comfortable and used to his presence.

"There was a story going around in magazines that I went into rehab for alcohol. It isn't true of course, but if anybody asks you, tell them it's true. I want to seem like a gangsta mother fucker."

The crowd went nuts laughing and of course screaming.

Ed went on to explain that the next song he was going to sing is the one he normally performed at festivals.

He also told us of his adventures at the Itunes festival.

"Well, my friends would go off to see performances and I would be left alone. So, for some reason I always go to the weirdest concerts. Every time, I drank so much and so did everyone else there so I ended up hugging and singing with complete strangers there. So, that is basically what is going to happen now."

He began to play the beginning chords of This and said, "Alright, now put your arms around each other and tell them you love them. Sway along with the music too."

He continued to play chords from This but stopped to mention, "I don't seeyour arms around each other."

We all started laughing once again at his jokes as he began to sing.

At about the middle of the song, he shouts out, "Okay for the next line sing out anything that comes to mind!"

To the melody, Ed sings "And it goes na na na na na na na na!"

After The City, which was the song after This, Ed started telling a personal story.

He told us that this next song was written for his two Godparents who fell in love.

It was a beautiful story to a beautiful song which was Kiss Me.

Kiss Me is my favorite song so I had to video tape it.

I got my phone out and he started playing the song and his voice rang out through the silent crowd.

"Setlle down with. Cover me up, cuddle me in."

I felt as if I was in total bliss at that moment.

I could die now and I would be perfectly fine.

When he was getting to my favorite part, it seemed as if he stared into the camera and sang. "I was made to keep your body warm, but I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms."

I think Jillian noticed to because I could feel her staring at me but I couldn't take my eyes off of the angel singing in front of me.

It was in that moment that I realized just how much that he meant to me.
