Pegasus ride

Hazel heard the sounds of hooves tap against the floor. A large furry presence, warm and sloppy breathing made itself known from behind her. She turned to find a jet black stallion with angel wings. A Pegasus. A white Pegasus standing beside the darker one also made its presence known.

"Meet Yin and Yang," Leo said.

"Beautiful. Wait, Yin and Yang? Seriously?" Hazel said.

"You're the Yin to my Yang and you know it, babe." Leo winked. Hazel laughed.

They both mounted onto each horse. Hazel took the black horse, Yin. The fireworks were still being produced, emanating from the bronze dragon's mouth. Hazel wondered how long Leo planned to leave them on. Leo flew right towards the fireworks and gestured for her to follow.

Leo had flown right into the fireworks. Hazel wondered if this was safe at all. She remembered Leo could walk through flames and not be impacted.

"It's perfectly safe, come!" Leo's hand stuck out and made a come in gesture.

Hazel proceeded, and instead of burning from the sparks of the fire works she was able to soar through it without feeling anything at all. As if it were a hologram.

She caught up with Leo and looked around at all the colours in awe. "How did you do this?" she asked.

"They're real fireworks, attached to aura and air, so were protected by a thin layer and a bit ofHephaestus magic," Leo shot festus a look. "FESTUS, LIGHT SHOW!"

The fireworks finally died out. Then instantly more lights shot up around them. Air-like waves of colour surrounding them in blue, yellow, purple, green. Changing from primary to secondary colours like red, yellow and blue, then other colours of the rainbow.

"Were inside an Aurora," Hazel gasped. Leo nodded. They flew in circles gazing at the fluorescent lights that surrounded the night sky. Hazel reaches out her hand to touch it as she flew past, making hand shaped finger prints that slowly faded. The aurora felt like warm mist.

After circling the entire light show Hazel wanted to give her genius fiancé another hug or kiss. Instead, she flew around and out of the lights and said, "race ya full circle around before the next colour change!"

Hazel took off. "Why are you running away from me? Am I that ugly?" Leo barked joyfully.

It reminded her of when she used to go horseback riding with Sammy. Leo looked and acted exactly like Sammy, and it was weird as hell. But she accepted this wasn't Sammy, it was Leo Valdez.

They raced around the lights like two love birds, and of course Hazel won.
