Leo Valdez, now 25 years of age owns a mechanic shop in New York. And His girlfriend, Hazel Levesque, sold Jewellery and gems on the left side of Leo's shop, half of which she had summoned herself.

Hazel had suffered a curse of which who ever she touched or sold her gold would have horrible things happen to them. But it seems like her curse had been lifted ever since Gaia and her giant war had ended.

And what about Leo's love Calypso? you may ask? Well, Calypso loved Leo. She loved Percy. She loved Odysseus. After a few months of Leo's company, Calypso realised Leo was only human. Where as she an immortal goddess. He would age, but she would stay forever young, for as long as she wanted; centuries, thousands of years, to the dawn of time.

Some part of Calypso still believed she only fell in love with him because she was cursed, rescuing her was a bonus and she respected that. But did she really owe her life and eternal love to only him, her knight in shining -BURNT- armour?

She now lives with the gods on Mount Olympus. Leo didn't take it very well. After a couple of years he decided a future with Calypso was futile.

And Frank?  Hazel's second chance at love in her new life. Things changed, they grew up and changed.  Hazel went to revisit New Orleans then decided to travel the world for a few years.  To truly find herself and her second chance at life.

For years being a Praetor had it's advantages and downfalls. Hazel and Frank never had time for each other anymore, they were always arguing these past years. They broke up years ago.

During her travel Hazel often ran into her half brother Nico De Angelo, then at one point Leo Valdez, who offered to show her the world on a mechanical dragon ride.

Henceforth, Hazel could not desist the company of Valdez. His charms reminded her too much of her first boyfriend, Sammy, who was actually Leo's great grandfather (it's a long story).  It took her a while to move on from Sammy and accept Leo for who he was, a short and sassy Latino guy that had a knack for jokes.   But somehow he won her heart and vice versa.

It had been ten years after the Giant war.

Leo and Hazel walk along the foot path. He was about to ask Hazel if she would marry him, until a house caught on fire. "Ooops my bad." He had accidentally set a house on fire due to anxiety pouncing in his head. He was afraid of what she would say. Usually Leo was care free and fun but not during events like these. Hazel always denied most of his offers, like the time he asked if she wanted to help set Percy's shirt on fire.

"DID YOU SET THAT HOUSE ON FIRE?" Hazel said out loud. "I said sorry, alright. I was thinking about ... Gaia," he lied. Thankfully no one was near the fire.

Leo sat in his mechanical workshop, frustrated, thinking of ways to propose to his long time love. Jason Grace enters the workshop. He had the same scrappy blonde hair, blue eyes and convinced face. "Hey Leo!" Jason said. "What did you need help with?"

"I was wondering. How should I ask Hazel to mary me? You know how you're married and all," Leo said. "Sure," Jason responded.

The next night Leo had set up a camp fire at a park where he anchored and set up some gadgets and tools. He even brought along his robotic dragon, Festus.

Hazel arrived. Her curly brown hair blowing in the wind and she walked. She was in a grey top and blue jeans. Casual, just the way Leo liked it.

Just as Hazel had walked up to him, he bent down on one knee. Fire works shot into the sky.

People around them oooing in amazement. Festus blew fire into the air creating patterns and patterns of beautiful ringlets among the fireworks. Mortals couldn't see the metallic dragon because of the mist that blinded mortal eyes. Hazel covered her mouth, dumbfounded.

"Hazel. When we first met. When you guys called me Sammy. I thought you were weird, but kind of cute? Hella cute.  But then Frank came along, and the whole Calypso thing..." He paused and cleared his throat,

"Forget all that, Hazel, I fell in love with you way before we sailed the Argo II. When we were on that horse together, when we met Narcissus. Hell I've grown to love you as much as Narcissus loved his own reflection, probably even more. I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Leo paused and cleared his thought.

The fireworks hovered around like a lost fly. The sparks began to attach themselves and elongate, forming ... words?

Hazel Levesque, will you marry me?   It spelt.

"Hazel. Will you marry me?" He asked, putting on his most gallant face.  The expression on Leo's face sort of reminded Hazel of a scene from the movie Tangled, Flynn Rider's 'the smoulder'.

Hazel held back the urge to laugh.  Leo pulled out a small, red velvet ring case and opened it. Revealing a sparkling golden ring with a red diamond encrusted on top of it.

Hazel paused in perplexity, her eyes wide open.

"Yes! of course I'll marry you," Hazel screamed and plunged herself on him going in for a hug. They began to kiss under the mechanic dragon's colourful, yet beautiful flames. Fire works circling the sky like a fire cracker forming hearts, circles, and strange shapes.

"Leo, I love you. You're annoying but I love you. And yes I had feelings for you during the Argo II as well." Hazel blushed.   She lunged at her Fiancé and kissed him one more time.
