I woke up laying on my side with something hard pressed into my ass. When I stretched, a strangled moan came from behind me, and two hands grabbed my hips and pulled me snuggly into the hardness.

"Gabe, is there a reason you are sleeping in the same bed with Alina, when you are supposed to already be at the dining hall?" I heard a familiar feminine voice, and then heard two masculine snickers. I peeked over the blankets and saw Callie, Jaxon and Jace standing in the doorway to his room.

I ducked under the blankets, absolutely mortified to be caught. Gabe kissed me on the lips, smacking loudly and then sat up glaring at his sister and best friends. "Callie, I forgot to set my alarm. Please shut the door and Alina and I will be out shortly."

The triad left the room giggling between them.

"I'm sorry, Sunshine, I should have locked the door, but I didn't think about it. Time to get up though. Lots to do today!" Gabe jumped from the bed, and headed to the closet for a change of clothes.

A few minutes later I still lay in bed. Gabe stuck his head out of the closet. "C'mon Sunshine, rise and shine!" He headed into the bathroom with his clothes.

I stretched my limbs, groaning, but rose from the bed. I was incredibly embarrassed about getting caught with Gabe in bed, but we hadn't done anything wrong, and we were both adults.

I grabbed my clean clothes out of my drawer and pulled off my sleep clothes, folding them neatly, and put them back in the drawer. I turned around and ran smack dab into Gabe. His eyes were heated with lust, he dipped down and brushed his lips softly against mine.

"Bathroom," I told him, and he smiled. I used the bathroom in record time, and we set off for the dining hall, our fingers entwined. The feelings going through my head were new. I had been attracted to Gabe since I met him, but I had never thought that we could have anything but friendship. I always knew I had to leave. The possibility and questions of the future running through my mind made my head hurt. I could either dwell on the what-ifs or embrace the happiness of what was and what could be.

We arrived at the dining hall and went to our normal table that we usually shared with Callie, Jaxon and Jace. Curious but friendly stares were directed towards us from all over the room. I glanced down at Callie who was trying not laugh, she struggled with a huge smile that split her face. The twins were suspiciously looking in any direction but ours. One stare wasn't curious or friendly, it was downright hostile, Amanda. I think Gabe noticed it too because instead of just standing next to me, his arm snaked around my waist and pulled me into his side. He dropped a kiss onto my temple.

I heard a chorus of, "awwwws," around the room.

Gabe pulled out the chair for me and I dropped lightly into it. The four of us chatted about our day between bites of breakfast. People came by our table and asked one of the guys a question about the stable, a class or even when the twins would get around to fixing something. Everyone was having a good time until Amanda showed up at our table, pulling Jasmine along with her.

"Good morning, Gabe," her voice incredibly, sickly sweet. "I was wondering if you need any help with anything today. I could help with your classes. I wanted to ask you about The Book, there are some passages that I didn't quite understand."

The whole dining hall became suspiciously quiet, and the color from Gabe's face drained away. "What kind of passages?" I asked. Gabe didn't say anything, just stared daggers at Amanda.

"That's enough, Amanda," Callie said through gritted teeth. "Please meet with Greta and I after breakfast."

Amanda looked downright smug, returned to her own table, and sat, leaving poor Jasmine to face the music on her own.
