Arielle's POV
Veronica....
We have a past. And NOT a good one. Veronica was my best friend. was. I thought we were the bestest of friends ever. We had matching outfits, Netflix sleepover nights, and I could trust her. She seemed real. I was wrong. She basically used me to get Hayes. Hayes rejected her though. When he did she just called me all these mean and nasty things and left. And she hasn't stopped. But Hayes doesn't know...
"What up 'Miss thinks she's popular' " Veronica asked me.
"The sky" I smirked.
She rolled her eyes just like her two little friends beside her and said "the sky" mimicking me in an annoyed high voice. She walked away and flipped her hair.
Ugh. I don't like her. I decided to just shake it off. After I gathered my books I walked to first period. Great I'm late.
"Miss Grier explain why you're late" uhhhh
"I'm sorry Mrs. Kelly, I was late and missed the bus" I lied.
"OK you're excused but next time it's a detention" geeeez
I went and sat down next to Hayes and he said "You were on the bus Ari, why were you really late?" He looked kinda worried.
"Uh........Um......because I wanted to be"
"Just don't tell then" he sighed and looked at the board.
