Someone Has To Help

Izuku Midoriya, a small and sad boy, is just walking down the street. His heart is broken. What he doesn't know is it all happened for a reason. All the bullying and torment. The evil word of his former friends. They were only 14 but they know better and he knew it. It's the reason he's asked he mom to homeschool him and she did. She wasn't a monster, honestly she had been wanting to homeschool him for years. She knew he was being bullied. She even confronted him about it, but he wanted to be with the other kids. He didn't mind the bullying, but soon it got to bad for him to handle and he gave in. Now he was walking home from the store after getting groceries for  his mom. She was pulling a double and they needed groceries. Suddenly a little girl ran into him. He crouched down to speak to the girl.

"Are you ok? You not hurt are you?"

She didn't say anything just held onto him. He picked the girl up trying to calm he down. Soon overhaul came out of the ally way.

"Thank you for catching my daughter young boy. I'll take her now."

He reach for Eri but Izuku turned so he couldn't get her.

"You can't have her. I know your not her father and that you hurting her."

"Silly boy I wasn't asking."

He tried to get the girl again but Izuku turned again. Soon a pro noticed and came to help. When he figured out who Overhaul was he place him under arrest. Izuku when with him to the police station, Eri still in his arms. She held onto him just as tight as he held onto her. They weren't going to let go of each other any time soon.

"Ah yes, your the boy that found Overhaul I'm assuming?"

"Yes sir. My name's Izuku Midoriya."

"My name's Akio Tanaka. I work for a branch of the government that deals with children with dangerous quirks. It seems the girl you're holding falls into that category. Would you like to adopt her."

"Well I would but I have to ask my mom first."

"Please take your time but do know that you will be paid for taking care of her."

The man watched as Izuku called his mom. He knew the boy would say yes but he's not too sure about the mother.

"Mom, I met a child and she doesn't have anywhere to go. She's really sweet. Her name is Eri and I just, somewhat, helped rescue her for a really bad man named overhaul. I was wondering if I could adopt her? Please mom?"

"So you're saying you found a child and want to keep it."

"Yes and some of the expenses are going to be paid for by the government because of her quirk."

"Ok, you can adopt her but she's your responsibility."

"Thank you mom. Bye, I love you "

"I love you too Izuku."

He hung up and asked Tanaka where he should sign. When finished he took Eri home. His mom instantly fell in love with the girl and how much she is like Izuku. They had Katsudon for dinner, watched a few movies, and by then It was bed time. Eri slept in Izuku's room untill they could get the things needed for her new room.
