"Immy!" Called Alice running across the field towards me, with Gina not far behind.

"Hey doll" I called back "Where's Nikita and Becky?"

They look shiftily at each other then forced smiles "Umm. They're in the cold bar"

I understood immidiatly why they were being so suspicious "They're with Jake aren't they?"

"Yes" answered Alice, seeming relieved that she didn't have to lie.

"Sweetie, I don't mind my boyfriend talking to girls. Even if they are famous for having a massive crush on him"

"Don't worry about Kita and Becky, Jake would never leave someone as hot as you for them" said Gina cheerfully

"Aww. This is why you guys are my best friends!" I screamed

We had a cheesy group hug then walked to C10, our tutor room. I felt an arm placed on my shoulder and turned to see who it was.

"Hey Rhys" I said, giving him a quick hug as Jake came up behind him. He noticed me hugging Rhys and something flashed in his eyes, but it was gone a second later. Jake and Rhys were best friends, but Jake was always a bit jealous of the relationship I had with Rhys because of the fact that we used to date, but we broke up because we knew we just weren't the right people for each other. I didn't know why Jake was jealous, it was three and a half years ago but, there you go.

Jake wound his arm around my waist and turned me round for a kiss. It was particularily drawn out kiss for school so I pulled back before things got too heated.

"Hiya honey, I feel like I haven't seen you in ages" He said silkily

"We were talking on the phone until twelve last night you sausage" I answered

"I do have a big sausage don't I" He said cheekily

I slapped his arm while he high-fived Rhys.

"You're disgusting" I answered not meaning it.
He was such an idiot, but I liked him. A lot.
Although, my number one rule is not to share my body with anyone until marriage, so he was talking absolute rubbish.
But that didn't put people off trying.
I have slapped many a person for being inapropriate and trying to get in my pants.

The bell rung and Jake sighed. "I'll see you in the mugger at first break?"

"Yep" I answered back, standing on my tip-toes to peck him on the cheek.

It was the end of the day and I was waiting for Jam to pick me up.

"Why don't you let me just give you a lift?" Asked Jake, rubbing his thumb across my hand.

"No. Jam is picking me up, as he does every night. Something you should have gotten used to, if I'm honest with you"

Jake sighed, let go of my hand then walked off moodily.

"Wow. What's got his knickers in a twist?" Asked a familiar voice

"Guess" I answered, getting into the car behind me, smiling at the questioner. My best friend, Jam.

His dark spiky hair was reasonably long but not long enough that he would be mistaken for a girl from behind. Jake was around six foot but Jam was even taller about six foot four.
I felt very small next to Jake, being only five foot three, and absolutely tiny compared to Jam, especially as he always seemed to rub it in my face, in fact, his favouite nickname for me was short-stuff.

"He really doesn't like me does he?" Inquired Jam

"Not really..."

"On a different note, I got a history project to look into a friend's family tree and I thought, who better to do than my own Ihme short-stuff" He said jokily.

We turned into his road and I said "Well, I'm guessing we're going to your house"

"You're so clever" said Jam sarcastically

Opening the porch door, I took my pumps off and placed my coat on the rack. I'd spent half my life in this house and Jam's parents were some of the nicest people I'd ever met, so I loved it here.
We raced up to Jam's room and I jumped onto his bed, throwing his pillows at him. As he tackled me down, I licked his cheek and he was so shocked and disgusted that he loosened his grip and I easily knocked him off me.

"Ewwwww Ihme saliver" he whined

I drowned out his moans by loudly singing  'I am the champion' at the top of my lungs.
I stood on his chest of drawers and bowed to my imaginary audience, both of us laughing heartily.

"Right, down to business" Jam said lifting me off his furniture "Tell me about your family"

"Well my Mother is called Elizabeth, my Father is called George and I know nothing about any of my other relatives, apart from my Auntie Suzanne who I met once and she gave me the creeps. But that's all I've got. The end"

"What do you mean 'the end'?" Asked Jam, confused

"The end. Fin. Lopua. El extremo. Finished" I answered plainly, showing off the many languages I knew.

"Come on, you must know some more things than that. I've got nothing to go on"

"Sorry. That's all I know"

"Well Miss Useless, I hope you understand what a pickle I'm in" He sniffed, pretending to cry

"Aww, poor baby" I said, putting my arms around his neck "Cod?"

"Cod"

We played call of duty for two hours before Mrs Walker - Jam's mum - called us down for dinner. I was going to be down first until Jam pushed me out of the way and took the best place that we always raced for.

"Toad in the hole tonight chaps" Said Mrs Walker cheerfully, whilst giving out the plates, heavy with food.

Both Jam and I licked our lips and tucked in as if this was our final meal.

"Thanks for the delicious food Mrs Walker!" I called, as Jam dragged me to my car.

"Hey, I've just had an idea. Why don't you ask your parents about your family tree. They'll know." Jam suggested

"Yeah, you try having a conversation with Mr and Mrs Richardson without dying of boredom" I sighed

"Fine. Let me fail" He said, rubbing his eyes, pretending to cry again.

I elbowed him then got out of the car, as we had now reached the house. Jam's house was only ten minutes away from mine, so he walked home.

"I'll see you tommorow?" He asked

"No. I think I'll drive myself to school tomorow" I answered sarcastically

He shoved me, said bye then started to walk on his way. Jam was the best
