Summary : Mark is forced to have a fake relationship with Itzy's Yeji. The other members doesn't know it's a fake relationship. One day Taeyong found out and have a talk with Mark about some memories they had together one year ago.

Mark can't do this anymore. It's been almost a year since he is doing this. Which is having a fake relationship with Itzy's Yeji to gain some publicity. Mark isn't someone who would do something like this to get fame or attention by people. He was forced to do it by his so called agency.

Everything was great in Mark's life a year ago until one day his CEO Lee Sooman called him to his office and told him to pretend a relationship with Itzy's Yeji who was also present their with her CEO. Mark was obviously wasn't happy by the idea and by the look on Yeji's face she wasn't either. So he protested against the idea but when his CEO threatened him if he doesn't do it then he will make NCT disband. And Mark being the too good soul didn't wanted to cause his members trouble agreed lastly.

When his members get to know Mark was dating Yeji they were shocked at first. Because they thought Mark liked someone else whom they knew too well but nonetheless congratulated him. They didn't knew Mark was forced to do it.

Time went by, he never talked with Yeji through phone except when he was in his dorms and wanted to pretend he was dating Yeji and same with Yeji. It was becoming hard for both of them as Yeji liked someone else. So now Mark decided he will go to his CEO and tell him he doesn't want to do it anymore.

Entering his CEO's office, Mark told him that he doesn't want to do it anymore. But instead of listening to him , his CEO lashed out at him, saying stuffs like, "do you want NCT to disband" or "just do whatever I am telling you to do otherwise it wouldn't be good for you". So Mark again defeated, went to his dorm. But he didn't know someone else has heard their conversation.

Mark was in his room crying. He doesn't know what to do but then he heard someone knocked on his door. Mark wiped his tears, and then went to open the door. It was none other than his leader, Taeyong. He let Taeyong inside the room and locked the door again.

"What are you doing here hyung?" Mark asked. "I came to talk to you about your dating Mark" Taeyong replied calmly. "What about it?" Mark asked confused. "Do you really love Yeji?" Taeyong asked and Mark's eyes widened. "What kind of question is that, of course I do" Mark said not meeting Taeyong's eyes. "Are you sure?" Taeyong said. "Of course" Mark answered still not meeting Taeyong's eyes, knowing that if he look then he couldn't lie to him. "Look at my eyes Mark Lee!" Taeyong said voice loud and Mark looked at him. "Do you really love Yeji?" Taeyong asked again sternly. "I-I.. hyung..." Mark stuttered.

"Mark you know you can tell me everything right" Taeyong said. "Do you remember that night one year ago?" Taeyong asked and Mark again widened his eyes in surprise. How can he forget that night. That particular night was Mark's best memory in whole life, that night he and Taeyong made love, they promised each other they will never hide anything from each other, and if Mark could remember better he was also going to confess to Taeyong after few days but his CEO ruined it all and Mark had to avoid it. "I remember hyung and that was a mistake and a one time thing, it doesn't matter to me anymore, so you also shouldn't dwell on it" Mark said, it wasn't true he knows, he never wanted it to be a one time thing but he had to. "It wasn't a one time for me Mark, I loved you and I still do" Taeyong said holding Mark's hand but Mark pulled his hand away. "I-I don't l-love you hyung" Mark said, tears streaming down on his face. "Ok, then I hope you stay happy Mark, I would never trouble you anymore and I will keep loving you no matter what" Taeyong said and started to walk towards the door but suddenly felt someone hugging him from behind.
