Yamaguchi and Tsukishima have always loved each other, it was painfully obvious. But neither of them had the courage to confess, they were afraid of being rejected by the other, maybe even hatred towards them.

at the gym:

"Morning Hinata! Morning Kageyama! Early as always huh?" Nishinoya yelled out.
"Morning Nishinoya senpai! And yea! We're trying to practice our skills hehe~" Hinata smiled out. Kageyama greeted his seniors as well.
"HEY NISHINOYA!!! KIYOKO SAN'S EARLY TOO! LET'S GO SAY GOOD MORNING" Tanaka yelled across the room. "ON MY WAY! welp see ya two BYEE!!" he then dashed out the gym.

"How are you all so energetic in the morning. It's annoying."

"Shut up tsukishima you're early too." Hinata said, he was annoyed by the other's salty behavior.
"Morning Hinata! Morning kageyama!" a cheerful tone spoke. It was Yamaguchi, one of the nicest players in the team. "YAMAGUCHIIII YOUR BOYFRIEND IS BEING MEAN TO MEEEEE" Hinata yelled as he pounced onto yamaguchi, hugging him like he's gonna leave.
"let go of yamaguchi right now." Tsukishima threatened
"Oh? Are you jealous salty boy~?" Hinata teased, still hugging Yamaguchi.
"You know what. Fine." He then grabs yamaguchi's arm and drags him outside. Not caring about Hinata on the ground dazed.
"Do you think that they're gonna confess now kageyama?" He asked, looking at his partner.
"How do I know, but hopefully will. They're being a pain in the ass." Kageyama replied. The duo shrugged it off and continued their practice.

outside, tsukishima was dragging yamaguchi away from the gym, but soon realizing what he had just did and stopped.
"oh god.. im so fucked." he thought to himself.
"Tsukki? Is something wrong? Are you feeling not well? i can help you ask daichi if you want a day off?" Yamaguchi said, he was really concerned about his childhood friend. Tsukishima then turned around, facing him. 

"Yamaguchi Tadashi, we've been friends since we were young, but let's just end this." he said.
"w-what..?" Yamaguchi's heart broke, he couldn't believe that his friendship with Tsukishima is going to end. But little did he know, there was something more that's coming.
"yes, and in fact, i'd like to be more than friends." Tsukishima continued. The green haired boy was surprised, he kept quiet, not knowing what to say. awkward silence filled the air, and Tsukishima decided to make the first move.

"whatever, I'll head back." he said. Yamaguchi panicked, he quickly grabbed Tsukishima's arm and pulled him back, not wanting him to leave.
"t-tsukki! i.." he stuttered.
"it's okay if you don't feel the same Yam's, i already knew what was comi- mmh?!" he was cut off by Yamaguchi with a kiss. they both pulled away, panting for air.
"w-what..?" Tsukishima opened his eyes, his eyes meeting Yamaguchi's blushing face, which reminded him of a strawberry.

"t-tsukki.. i.. ilikeyoutoo..!" he muttered, tsukishima could barely hear but managed to understand it anyways.
"..really..?" he asked again, unsure of yamaguchi's answer.
"yes..! i really do tsukki.. ever since you defended me from my bullies i've been heads over heels for you.." Yamaguchi blushed.

Tsukishima then caressed yamaguchi's red cheeks and leaned in, giving him a passionate kiss. It was short but sweet enough to make yamaguchi to melt into his arms, tsukishima wrapped his arms around yamaguchi's waist, trapping him. Yamaguchi pulled away and panted heavily.

"AYYY FINALLY!!! Y'ALL DID IT!! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO" the two lovers flinched and turned to see who was yelling. It was nishinoya and the rest of the team, they were cheering. The two of them stood in embarrassment and asked "how much did you saw."

"hohoho we saw everything tsukishima! As your senior, im very proud of you" sugawara said.

"YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG DID WE WANTED YOU TWO TO FINALLY CONFESS! IT WAS JUST DISGUSTING AND PAINFUL, HOW ARE YOU THIS BLIND TSUKISHIMA YOU HAVE GLASSES!" Hinata rambled out.

"shut up shrimp. go make out with your boyfriend or something." Tsukishima said. Everyone laughed as the duo blushed in embarrassment.

"Alright alright, let's go back to practice now, the coach must be worried since we're all gone" daichi spoke. they all started heading back except for the lovebirds.
"soo.. does that mean we're dating now tsukki?"
"was the kiss not sweet enough? or do you want me to kiss you again" tsukishima teased.
"I would like another kiss after practice tho hehe.." giggled yamaguchi. tsukishima smiled as he held yamaguchi's hands and headed back together.
