regrets [daisuga]

Daichi Sawamura, Karasuno's volleyball team's team captain and the starting wing spiker, also known as Sugawara's crush. Sugawara has been keeping his crush for Daichi for a few years now, he never told anyone, not even his closest friends. he was afraid, afraid of being disgusted, afraid of them telling Daichi and getting hated by him. he doesn't know about what Daichi thinks about him, but he does know one thing, Daichi likes Kiyoko Shimizu. every time Daichi hangs out with Sugawara, he brings up Kiyoko a lot, sure it hurts, but he's his best friend, he needs to support him no matter what.

Sugawara's thoughts start swarming, what if Daichi and Kiyoko got together? can he control his feelings? what if Daichi left him for Kiyoko? he won't do that right? what if Daichi forgot about him? Sugawara shook off his thoughts, he hugged his pillow tight, trying to forget the thoughts. the next day arrived, Sugawara didn't get a wink of sleep at all, the thoughts was still there, but he still got up and got ready for school.

Sugawara was doing terribly in class, even in training. sometimes he'd tossed the ball too weakly that it couldn't reach the members, or he tossed it too hard, the member's hand couldn't catch up with the speed. everyone was worried, Sugawara wasn't always like this, not to mention the dark circles under his eyes.

"Sugawara-san? you alright?" asked Hinata. he handed Sugawara a bottle of water and a chocolate bar.
"eat this! maybe it can regenerate some energy for you!" he smiled, trying to cheer up his senior. Sugawara realized the worried glances were watching him, he then smiled brightly.
"haha! thanks Hinata, im fine don't worry^^" he ruffled the younger boy's hair.
"i just didn't had much sleep last night, that's why im kind of out of shape today" he continued, making up an excuse so the other's won't worry much.

the members felt a little relieved, but the coach advised him to sit on the bench for today, his condition isn't really well to play, Sugawara nodded and sat on the bench. his eyes were all on Daichi, he looks so attractive in everyway. no matter if he's spiking, he's smiling, he's angry about himself for missing the ball and losing a score, he looked amazing. Kiyoko went up to Sugawara, sitting next to him.

"hey Sugawara-san" she smiled, her hand waving at him. Sugawara felt a little nervous but he waved back.
"oh hello Shimizu, what's up?" Sugawara returned a smile.
"may i ask you something?"
"sure^^"
"do you.. have feelings for Daichi?" she said, a hint of nervousness in her voice. Sugawara's eyes widen, averting his gaze with hers.
"haha.. of course not! why'd you ask that?"
"Sugawara-san. please don't lie to me, i see the way you look at him." Kiyoko said, her voice was stern.
Sugawara sighed, there's no point in hiding it anymore.

"yea.. i do.. please don't tell him tho.." Sugawara sighed, its over anyways, she's gonna be so disgusted in him.
"i won't, don't worry Sugawara-san. your secret's safe with me." Kiyoko said as she pinky promised Sugawara. he smiled, relieved. he pinky promised back Kiyoko and smiled.
"thank you Shimizu-chan"
"oh by the way, you're always welcome to ask me things about how to chase him, i know a little about love" she smiled and got up, then she walked towards yachi to talk to her. Sugawara felt a little relieved since Kiyoko was trustable, but he still felt guilty, he just confessed his love for daichi to Daichi's crush.

after the match, Daichi walks up to Sugawara with a worried expression.
"hey Suga.. you sure you alright?" he asks, sitting down beside Sugawara.
"mhm, im fine don't worry" Sugawara smiled, blushing a little. he was happy that Daichi cared for him, but he knew it won't last long.
"you know Suga.. you can tell me what's wrong, maybe i can help?" Daichi said, Sugawara's eyes widened but he lets out a chuckle.
"mmm.. it's okay, i can handle this"
"you sure..?"
"mhm^^"
"alright then.. oh! imma talk to Shimizu now, see ya bud" Daichi smiled brightly, walking towards Kiyoko. Sugawara nodded as he see's Daichi go towards Kiyoko.
