Chapter 5

*Alarm ringing*

"Ugh shut up alarm!!" I was already irritated by the sound of my alarm. It really messed up my beauty sleep well at least this alarm is more useful than me. I looked at the clock and it was 6:00 am which was a perfect time to wake up. It's the first time I woke up this early since high school. I'm feeling proud well at least brother would be. I quickly got up from my bed and went to the bathroom.
After I got fresh, I went to the kitchen to make some PB and Js. It's delicious as always. I saw my brother just woke up. "Ayoo look who woke up first!" I said making him look at me confused. "Are you my sister? Where have you locked her up? Who are you witch?" He said but judging by his face, he really looked serious. "Are you serious or something?" I said and he started laughing. "Sis take it easy" He said and vanished. He can't be more serious.

"I'm leaving I can't do this anymore!" He screamed at his parents. "Huh? Well you don't have anywhere to go after some moments you will come back again! But make sure to make us proud this time! How could you not make it to 100? Do you expect getting 97 marks will make us happy? We just accept 100 marks, are you even listening Jongin? Jongin!" His mom shouted at him but he already left the house. "Ungrateful brat." His father being disgust at his behavior.

"Hey future Dr. Sulgi, you okay?" Her mother said to her while she fell asleep in the table. "Y-yeah mom of course!" She replied. "Come, breakfast is ready" Her mom said but Sulgi doesn't seem to feel hungry.
"No mom it's ok you go I don't feel like eating" She said and her mother frowned. "Look you are going to be a doctor and if you don't eat then you will feel weak. So how come you treat patients?" Her mother said. "Mother, there are a lot of doctors in this town, can't I be something else? I want to be a traveler! I want to know about the world, I want to see something that not everyone can see-" her words got cut off my her mother "You started again? You only have to be a Doctor! There are no better Job than that. A girl shall listen to their parents. Behave normal. It's your duty to become a doctor. Fulfill this wish. I've already told my friends you will become a doctor so focus on that and forget your traveling dream which is not gonna come true! A dream is always a dream. Have you ever looked at your brother who is a respected Doctor in the town? be like him!" She said, then left the room. "Yeah I mean doctor isn't that bad right? You can help peoples" "But I'm not capable of doing so. I'm not that brave. I want to be happy with what I work on. I want to discover new things. As long as my dream job isn't harmful to anyone it's okay to be what I want, right?" her two sides are fighting in her mind. she wants to be a doctor or not. And then she went to the park to fresh her mind.

"I tried hard but it doesn't seem to work. They make me feel really bad about myself!" Jongin cried infront of the tree. He has bruises in his hands which were made by his toxic family. He shared everything infront of the tree about how his parents beat him just because he couldn't get 100 marks but he doesn't know that everytime he cried and shared there, a certain someone was watching him. "That's it!" Jongin looked at the person infront of him. "I wish I could help you but I'm weak myself. I can't do this anymore too." She said. Jongin just looked blankly at her. "I can't be a doctor, I don't understand anything! I can't just be stuck at my room!" Sulgi just screamed. "You know what? Come with me" she held his hand and left the place.

"Minji?" My brother was calling me. "Yeah?" I asked. "It's only 7 am, should we go and meet grandma? I kinda miss her." My brother said and I obviously agreed. We then left the apartment to meet grandma.

  "Good morning people of the country! It's Suzy again and today is Sunday, January 28 2001! It looks like a great day to go to the picnic with you family or friends as the sun is shining beautifully. After some moments Mr. Sam will be taking the news. Goodbyee!" The sound of the Radio could be heard from Grandma's Shop.
"Hey Suho where are you up to?" Ms. Uki said as she saw Suho who looked lost. "Oh hey Ms. Uki, Hey Grandma." He said quietly. "Where are you going?" Grandma asked. "Oh I was trying to find Jongin. He can't be seen anywhere..." He said as Grandma started to get concerned. "It's been an hour since his parents said he left the house. And they don't seem to get bothered at all with it..." He said. "GRANDMA YAMAMOTO!!" They heard a girl screaming. They looked at the direction and saw Minji and Minho walking towards the shop. "Good morning everyone, we thought to meet you before heading to work and oh hey there Suho and hello to you too Ms. Uki." Minho said while smiling while everyone also returned a smile except Suho, which wasn't new. "Where is Jongin? He is always with you." Minji asked. "I don't know and I can't see Sulgi too." Suho said and sat on the chair. "They must be at their house." Minji said. "No their parents said they left the house an hour ago." He replied. "Something's not right" Minho said while everyone nodded. Suddenly the telephone in the shop started to ring. Ms. Uki went there to pick the call. "Hello?" Ms. Uki asked. "Hello Ms. Uki I'm Sulgi! Can you give the phone to Grandma?" the person asked who happens to be Sulgi. Ms. Uki went towards them. "Who was it?" Minji asked. "It was Sulgi" she said.  Everyone went shock. Why would she call? Something's not right. They thought. Grandma went towards the call. After sometimes she came back and said something made everyone wide their eyes in shock. "Sulgi and Jongin both are in the city. They ran away from home"
