Jimin watched in horror as Jungkook was struck down, his brunette hair simply fluttering as he fell to the floor.

Seokjin and Taehyung's eyes grew wide as their fellow soldier suddenly went limp.

Emperor Min watched as the remaining sunshine was extinguished.

At first the crowds were silent. Jimin could hear his heart thumping desperately; his muscles ached to move, but he was simply rooted to the spot like an animal in a trap.

"Jungkook-Ah!" Jimin screamed. That was the first noise that everybody heard. Jimin's frantic cries were followed by thundering footsteps banging against the concrete. Namjoon was swept away by the crowd, only desperately trying to fight against the people to reach Jimin. It was no good.

Jimin held Jungkook in his arms, shielding him from the people with horror plastered over their faces, and the colour drained out of their skin. The crowd looked paper white with fear, and the Hwarang huddled together in desperate attempts to protect the emperor.

Emperor Min threw himself into the opposing crowd, pushing himself past his subjects, trying to get to Hoseok. His partner was left on the floor, helpless and injured as an arrow was burrowed in his shoulder. Emperor Min searched for the Hwarang, but they were all lost in the crowds. The only silk-uniformed soldier he could see was one lifeless across from him, with another arrow shot into his chest. He was dead.

The emperor sighed. What a beautiful sight the soldier was, even in death. The soldier's eyes were lightly pressed shut, as if he was in a deep slumber. His skin, although was ice cold, still looked as though it was bursting with life, and is as delicate as a flower's petal. The crimson flowed in rivers over his silk uniform and onto the cobblestone.

Emperor Min's eyes drifted over to Jimin. He was frantic, his blonde hair in a state and his hands unsure, as if he was scared to touch the injured boy who was unconscious on his lap. An arrow had been shot into the boy's shoulder and thankfully the shot wasn't fatal. The emperor couldn't handle two fatalities- Hoseok was already preoccupying his attention.

Hoseok's light had dimmed. Even his clothes looked dull, although there wasn't a single trace of dirt on it. Another arrow had been shot into his abdomen. Emperor Min carried his precious lover in his arms and looked over his shoulder. A panicked Hwarang had his face drained from colour, so much to the fact that he looked like a black and white painting.

"Dear soldier, take the injured man to the castle infirmary. I'll recruit the others to preserve this flower," Emperor Min said the second sentence in a more dull tone, as if he cared for the dead soldier deeply.

As soon as the Emperor walked through the castle gates, the servants clasped their hands over their mouth and instantly started rushing around the court. Hoseok was ushered away to the infirmary on a stretcher, which left Emperor Min standing isolated in the court.

"Be gentle with him."

Taehyung and Seokjin could only watch in horror as Jimin jogged after Jungkook on another stretcher. Their horror only grew as they saw another stretcher being brought into the court, but this time the men carrying it were solemnly dragging their feet and there was a white cloth draped over the body. It was only when the two men saw the white cloth fluttering did they realise that a disaster struck them. Taehyung turned, and saw one of his fellow soldiers sniffling, fighting his tears as he hovered over a neatly made bed. He looked back out onto the ghost town, but all he could see was a man, standing in the middle of the square.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he saw the farmiliar hat sat on the man's head.

Agust made it over the wall.
