Armin and I had been paired up to patrol the area and keep a look out for Military police that might be in the area, everyone took it in turns while we stayed in the cabin after everything that had happened

we had been out wandering for over an hour now but at some point we decided to temporarily split up to cover more ground.

about fifteen minutes into our separation I heard an ear piercing scream coming from the direction Armin had went in. my eyes widened and my heart began to beat out my chest as I turned my horse around and raced to go find him.

when I finally did I was horrified, he had been backed up against a tree as a bear stood right before him, getting ready to attack. "(y/n)! run!" he yelled with fear in his eyes

I shook my head as I pulled out my knife and rushed towards the bear, plunging it into the side of its neck but that done nothing to stop it

it turned around with a roar and swiped me with its claws, knocking me to the ground. I raised my arms up to shield my face and let out a blood curdling scream as it bit down on them.

"(Y/N)!!" Armin cried as it chomped down on me, shaking its head from side to side, at this moment I couldn't focus on anything other that the pain.

"A-A-ARMIN! GO GET THE OTHERS!" I yelled choking on blood as it continued to shake me around like a ragdoll.

Armin stood there for a moment with wide eyes filled with tears but after a few seconds he snapped out of it then nodded and hopped on his horse, disappearing into the woods

the bear had now flipped me onto my back and I placed my hands behind my neck trying to shield it.

It chomped down onto my back multiple times, still shaking me like a ragdoll as I continued to scream.

while laying on my stomach I looked up to see my knife a few feet in front of me, as I reached out to grab it the bear pulled me back a few feet, flipping me onto my back again, clawing me.

I desperately reached above of me, searching to find it as my cries continued to echo throughout the forest

I finally managed to grab it and immediately began to repeatedly plunge it into its face and neck, screaming with pain and rage.

after at least twenty stabs it collapsed onto me, its weight made it almost impossible to breathe.

I lay there for what seemed like forever, trying to hang onto consciousness but eventually I heard the distorted sound of horses approaching along with yelling.

I opened my eyes to be met with piercing gray ones. I could see his lips moving but no sound came out.

my whole body filled with relief as the massive weight of the bear had been lifted off me but considering the pain I was in there was only so much relief I could have.

my body was torn all over with blood leaking profusely. I cried in agony as Levi picked me up into his arms.

"sh-she sacrificed herself for me" Armin whimpered as tears streamed down his face. "don't say it like that! she's not dead yet! she's still alive!" Levi seethed while mounting his horse with you still in his arms.
