Seri let out a loud sigh as she was massaging her temples how the heck do you solve these math problem shits she said on her thoughts as her best friend look at her

"Got any problem ri?" her best friend asked

"Yep im currently having a headache trying to figure out how to solve this shit" she rolled her eyes as her best friend let out a chuckle "I'll hel-" her best friend was cutted off when the bell rang signalling that school for today is over

the students let out a loud sigh some hurriedly storming out of the classroom

"Ri do you still want me to help you?" her best friend asked

"No its okay ara i'll do this at home" she smiled

"Want me to walk you home then?" seri shook her head as ara just nodded before bidding goodbye to seri after that seri continued  to do her homework

"Arghhh fuck this shit im gonna continue this at home" she groaned as she put her notebook and stuff in her backpack before grabbing her phone and leaving the classroom she looked at the time she noticed it was already 5 pm

"I stayed for 20 minutes? no wonder there aren't many students left" she spoke to herself as she continued walking as she got through the gates she received a text from miyoung

Nope im still at the gates

Just got home and seri im sorry
if i couldn't join you two at lunch
ms.kwon gave me extra work but
i promise i'll have lunch with you

"Miyoung's such a mom" she spoke to herself as she began heading her way home

as she was walking through the street she felt a presence behind her she shrugged it but as she kep walking she felt that the presence is still behind her following her but as she looked behind she saw no one

"Freaking creep" she whisper-yelled

as she looked back at the front she was startled to see the black haired boy infront of her

"What the heck?! you almost scared the living soul outta me jeno" she said as she glared at the boy

he chuckled

"Oops sorry and ms.i was startled what are you doing here in this streets its 5:29 pm?" jeno asked as seri dusted her clothes "I should be the one asking you that" she snapped as the boy chuckled again

"I was just buying dinner since the others were lazy to cook,now answer my question" he smiled as the girl sighed

"I was on my way home not until you startled me" she cross her arms "Is your house nearby?" he asked as the girl shook her head "Not really my house is 15 minutes away from here" she replied as jeno nodded

"Come on i'll walk you home its dangerous for a girl like you to walk around its already getting dark" he said as seri let out a 'pfft'

"I can walk alone myself besides Its not like its my first time-" she didn't get to finish what she was gonna say as she noticed the look on jeno's face

"Fine..sheesh" she rolled her eyes as jeno just chuckled and took her hand

she was startled by the sudden contact

"Oh..." she whispered but what she didn't noticed that jeno heard it

he let go of her hand and just walked beside her silently but a bit awkward

after a few minutes of both of them walking they arrived at seri's house

"Thanks for walking me home jeno" she smiled as he just let out a chuckle

"Stop chuckling its creeping me out" he laughed at her comment

"Yeah and no prob see you tommorow seri"

"You too jeno"

both of them bid goodbye before seri opened the door of the house and jeno walking away

"Seri your finally home what took you so long?" mum immediately ask as i step inside

"Sorry mum i kinda did half of my math homework at school and met a friend on the way" i smiled nervously as i scratched the back of my neck

"Ah okay then but next time dont go home alone when its already dark" she smiled at me as i nodded

"Go to your room now then come down here to have dinner okay?" i nodded again as she kissed my forehead before heading into the kitchen

i went upstairs to my room and threw my bag at the bed before grabbing my pajamas and taking a half bath

after that i went downstairs and saw that mum cooked my favorite

i squealed like a fangirl mum noticed my presence and giggled "Sit down now i know you want to eat it" she smiled as i wasted no second to sit down and ate the samgyeopsal

"Still yummy as usual and by the way mum...is dad not home yet?" i asked as she shook her head which made me frown

"He called me earlier and said that he can't come home today.." she gave me a small smile as i sadly nodded

he's been alot busy these days....

i frowned at my own thoughts and continued eating before heading upstairs back to my room not forgetting to thank and say goodnight to mum

i let out a tired sigh as i open my notebook and decided to continue my math homework that isn't finish yet.

"Jeno care to explain why you took so long to buy us dinner earlier?" the dark haired boy asked as jeno sighed for the 5th time

"I swear i just took long because there were alot of people in the line jaemin" he replied which made jaemin raise a brow at him

"Are you sure you aren't lying?" he sat beside the boy

as jeno nodded

"Ugh just go to sleep stop bothering me" jeno pushed jaemin back to his bed since they were roommates

what jeno didn't know is that jaemin sensed the he was clearly lying.
