I looked at my dress one more time in the mirror because I felt nervous for some reason but also pretty excited that I was going to meet Billie's other family. I just hope they don't turn out to be how Billie was when we first "met," or whatever.
"Ready?" Billie said while walking into my room holding her tie in her hand.
"Need help with that?"
"...no"
"Come here dork"
She sighed and walked towards me handing me her tie.
I lifted up the collar of the shirt and wrapped the tie around her neck and began to tie it.
"You look nice," she said to me.
"So do you," I smiled.
"You seem nervous"
"I am a little"
"They're chill, my older sister may be bossy but she'll like you"
"There," I finished tieing her tie.
"Thanks,"
"You're welcome"
