"You look so pretty," mama said to me while curling my hair for the party.

"I'm not used to this," I chuckled awkwardly looking at myself in the mirror with my emerald silk green dress and my green heels. I had makeup that was done nicely, I looked like a lady for once in a blue moon, sure it'll make some people in my family proud but I'm just experimenting.

"Alright all done," mama said.

"You think Sage would like it?"

"She would love it I'm sure"

"I'm nervous"

"That's okay, it's stepping out of your comfort zone and that's a little scary sometimes but it'll be alright"

"You're right"

"Deep breath's"

"I'm ready"

"Okay"

"Not yet," I heard mom's voice.

I looked over and saw her in the doorway with a smile on her face, she walked over to me and held out her hand, I took it and she helped me out of the chair.

She pulled out a small box from her pocket and opened it, a ring, a gold ring with in emerald in the middle shaped into a heart, with red stone designing the outside of it.

"Mom this is so beautiful"

"You deserve it my love," she put it on my ring finger on the right side.

"Thank you," I pulled her into a tight hug.

"You're welcome Eloise"

"Holy shit," Sage said when she saw me after I found her during the party.

"Do you like it?" I asked her.

"Holy fucking shit you look gorgeous"

"Really?"

"Hell yeah give me a little twirl with it," She grabbed my hand and held it in the air and I slowly twirled in my dress.

"Damn how'd I get so lucky a girl that can do both"

"Shut up," I laughed and pulled her into a hug.

"I missed you," I told her.

"It's been a couple days I miss you too," she kissed my neck and my shoulder.

"Sage someone can see us"

"You looking this good honestly I don't give a fuck"

"You wanna risk it?"

"What you got in mind?"

"Well we could get tipsy or we could get high"
