Chapter 1: Exposed Crush?

(Bold Slanted is Y/N's POV, it was easier than having to write Y/N's POV everytime)

** A year later **

"Pansy? Where's Y/N?" Mattheo asked, generally concerned.

"I woke her up just before I left for class..." Pansy told him. 

I'm running late because I fell back asleep! I thought in a panic.

"We will be studying Amortentia today, now, can anyone tell me what it is?" Professor Slughorn asked the class.

Hermione Granger put her hand up and told everyone what it was. As always, Slughorn praised her and commented about how smart she was. 

I threw on my tie but didn't do it up just letting it hang around my neck, I quickly brushed my hair and threw it into loose pigtails. I knew I was running late but I had to get ready and look acceptable.

I threw on  my blood red heels on and ran to potions tripping a few times along the way, I was a mess but at least I was there.

"Sorry I'm late sir, Pansy didn't get me up so I overslept!" I panted.

"It's quite alright Miss Malfoy, please take a seat." Slughorn chuckled. I took the seat in between Mattheo and Pansy and instantly a strong smell filled my nostrils.

"Jeez, Theo, got enough cologne on!? You're suppose to spray it on, not bathe in it! It's literally the only thing I can smell, except for a few other things but still!" I coughed, gagging on the smell. Pansy and Theo looked at each other.

"What? Why are you looking at each other?" I questioned my friends. Theo nodded at Pansy.

"Well, you see Y/N... we're looking at Amortentia today, the room should smell like what attracts that person the most, Theo and I both smell different things," she explained to me. I blushed, realizing what that meant and tried to hide it from Theo, turning away from him but I couldn't hide it from Pansy. She gasped and I shushed her.

She smirked evilly, "Theo, you fix her front, so like her tie and stuff and I'll fix her hair. She's a mess."

"I was running late!" I cried and she just giggled.

Theo shrugged, grabbed my right leg and pulled it over the chair so I was facing him and he knelt in front of me, in between my legs with his elbows on my thighs, doing my tie up.

I was blushing like mad, Pansy knew it as well. Everyone was staring at me and Theo.

"Miss Malfoy, since you were late, can you please tell everyone what you smell in the Amortentia?" Slughorn asked.

I blushed even more and went up to where he was standing and smelt it. "I smell cologne and... cigarettes and a little bit of metal?"

A wave of realization washed over me and my face turned red with embarrassment.

Mattheo looked at me with the same amused smirk he had when he watched Pansy tease me a year ago. Pansy was laughing her head off, of course. She knew who I smelt in the potion and will most likely tease me when we all sat back down in our seats.

"Mr Riddle and Miss Parkinson, you can go next, seeing as you both seem so amused with Miss Malfoys answer." The potions master said.

Mattheo and Pansy got up and passed me. Pansy was in front of Theo and although I would never say it, I was hoping that Theo smelt me, whatever I smelt like. Pansy sniffed the love potion in the cauldron in front of her.

"It smells like... Cologne, a woodsy scent and a hint of vanilla?" she said, generally confused. She sat back down and looked at me, I giggled. My male best friend then took Pansy's place and smelt it.

"Burning firewood, Tropical and..." he sniffed the potion again, "autumn..."

I blushed because I wash my hair with Tropical scented Shampoo and conditioner. I had put on a perfume that smelt of burning pine earlier and my room always had the autumn smell.

Mattheo came back and sat down, hiding his face.

"I knew I made the right choice shipping you two!" she laughed. I hit her in the back of the head.

"Shut up Pansy, I know you smelt Blaise Zabini in it!"

Mattheo turned to the guy currently smelling the potion. I tuned back in, he was a Hufflepuff, older than Draco was. I recognized him as Cedric Diggory, one of the Triwizard champions from the previous year.

"Pine, Tropical and autumn?" Cedric answered. That's the same as Theo, I thought. Pansy giggled and tried to muffle it.

"You need to choose and I think Mattheo, is a little bit jea-lous!"

Theo turned and stared at Pansy, "shut up, I am not!"

"Are so! You want Y/N so bad and you just don't want to admit it! You looovvvveeee herrr!" she teased.

I put my head down and sighed as my 2 best friends fought over the stupid thing.

"Pansy, Theo, stop fighting over something this stupid! I'm sure Theo likes me but only in a friend way, not anything more!"
