Chapter 2: The Fight

** Mattheo's POV **

"Oi, Riddle! You're the son of You-Know-Who! I'm popular and not evil!" Cedric called to me.

"Yeah, I know I am! Which means I can beat the heck out of you!" I snarled back. Cedric had been cruel and rude to me ever since we both smelt Y/N in the Amortentia. And he was a Hufflepuff! Which didn't make any sense at all!!

"Face it, she's only your friend because she feels sorry for you!" the older boy taunted.

I had been dealing with this for a few weeks, every time I go past this spot, he makes fun of me. It's probably true though, I'm not cool, popular or even as smart as Cedric is. I looked down.

"Aww, wittle Mattheo Widdle gonna cwy?" he pouted and did puppy dog eyes like I were a 5 year old.

I shot him a dirty look, "At least I'm the same age, year and house as she is, Diggory!"

He cackled and looked around at his friends, "We're all bigger than you are, don't mess with us."

I bit my lip, I was tempted to hit him, right in his pretty, little face. I saw him smirk, I hissed.

"Actually, you and her would go well together, your both little female dogs!" he smirked.

I couldn't control myself, I dropped my bag on the floor and punched him straight in the jaw.

He stared at me in shock, holding his jaw.

"What is wrong with you!?" he yelled.

I stood back, jaw and fists clenched, panting.

"Make fun of me, all you want Diggory, but do not, EVER call Y/N a b*tch!"

Everyone gathered around us, watching. I heard people muttering stuff like "Did he just punch Cedric?" and "We have magic, why physically hit someone?"

I turned around and yawned tauntingly, "What's wrong? Don't know how to fight?"

He turned to me, "You ar$ehole!"

He whipped his wand out, "Levicorpus!"

I was lifted into the air by my ankle and everything fell out of my pockets but I managed to catch my wand, "Confringo!"

Cedric went flying backwards into the tree behind him, making his head bleed. I fell to the ground and landed on my arm. There was a bone-cracking snap and I felt the bone in my arm break cleanly in half. I had clearly landed wrong.

I held my arm with my other arm and felt the bone, I felt sick "Oh god! Goddamn it!"

I moved my hand further up my arm and felt my bone sticking out, "OH MY JESUS CHRIST! NO!"

"Bombarda!" Cedric yelled while I was caught off guard.

"Protego!" I screamed quickly, trying to avoid being blown to pieces.

The shield charm had worked pretty well but it had blown a bit of my leg off. I was horrified and regretted duelling with someone 3 years older than myself.

"You son of a git! INCARCEROUS!" I hissed angrily.

Ropes flew out of my wand towards him, if this worked, he wouldn't be able to move so I could attack him as much as I'd liked.

"Sectumsempra!" he casted just before he was binded by the ropes.

I attempted to duck but the curse hit my nose before I could fully duck. Blood started spurting out of it. He pointed his wand at my waist even though he was on the ground.

"Diffindo!" he hissed.

It came towards me, knocking me back onto the ground and it ripped my shirt and cut my tummy, more blood spurted out of my middle. I was just lying on the ground, bleeding everywhere while everyone watched and while Cedrics friends unbound him from the ropes.
