"The dress is sold to Mr Xavier DeAngelis for 50 million Dollars," The announcer said with a huge grin on her face.
My eyes met Xavier's to see him already looking at me without any expression. His face was stoic like always. He brought the dress only to show people that he is capable of buying a dress for 50 million dollars. The audience was applauding, as the announcer closed the auction.
I gave the audience a fake smile again as I returned to the dressing room.
"OHH MY GODD," Maddie squealed loudly attacking me in a hug.
"50 FUCKING MILLION AUBREY!!!!!"She said in a high pitched voice causing me to wince. "Maddie my ears" She squealed ignoring my comment as she thanked all the other models and the staff because of whom the auction was a huge success.
I returned to my changing room as I carefully got out of the beautiful dress when I heard a knock on the door but before I could tell the person not to enter, the person already barged in and closed the door.
Xavier was standing there shamelessly roaming his eyes over my naked body. I just rolled my eyes and quickly put on my dress. It wasn't the first time he was seeing me half-naked.
"The fifty million dollars will be transferred to your bank account tomorrow," I said in a sharp voice before he could say anything.
